At the beginning of this covid-19 lockdown, no one was requiring a face mask, even though face masks have been around for a long time and doctors know how and when to use them. Does that not seem a bit strange?
In fact, in March, Dr. Fauci was telling people NOT to wear masks.
When it comes to preventing coronavirus, public health officials have been clear: Healthy people do not need to wear a face mask to protect themselves from COVID-19.

· How U.S. hospitals are preparing, and what leading health officials say about coronavirus
"There's no reason to be walking around with a mask," infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci told 60 Minutes.
While masks may block some droplets, Fauci said, they do not provide the level of protection people think they do. Wearing a mask may also have unintended consequences: People who wear masks tend to touch their face more often to adjust them, which can spread germs from their hands.
Then suddenly a week ago, everyone started wearing masks at press conferences—even Dr. Fauci! Some states are even requiring face masks for those who leave home.

As for the press corps itself, they “social distance” and wear masks as long as the camera is present, but the moment they think the cameras are turned off, they remove their face masks and mingle with the others. It is obviously all a show. None of them really believe that face masks or “social distancing” really matters.
Then there is this article that shows the serious risks when healthy people wear face masks.

Dr. Russell Blaylock warns that not only do face masks fail to protect the healthy from getting sick, but they also create serious health risks to the wearer. The bottom line is that if you are not sick, you should not wear a face mask.
Well, years ago we bought a box of face masks to use for a special occasion. When my wife had a doctor’s appointment last week, she had to wear a face mask to enter the clinic. So we read the disclaimer on the box itself, which apparently most people have not read. It says:
The manufacturers tell us that face masks do not protect anyone from viruses. The most they do is to stop droplets of water when you cough or sneeze so that viruses on those droplets do not get out into the surrounding area. Doctors wear them during surgery so that they do not spit on their patients. Doctors are not worried that they might catch a disease from the patient.
There are many fearful people today who wear face masks, thinking that this will keep them from contracting a virus. It seems that they have been given a false sense of security.
Yet government officials know all this. In fact, when we look at their prison policy, we find them releasing inmates in order to protect them from covid-19. Really? Why don’t they just issue them a box of face masks? The answer is simple. They know face masks don’t protect anyone from a virus.
In other words, Dr. Fauci was right in the interview last March. “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask,” he said. I see no reason to disbelieve him today. There has been no new technology that has vastly improved the effectiveness of face masks. We should look rather at the political side of this issue, which is the reason for the face mask scam. I see it as a test to see how much psychological control they have over the people. Can people be frightened into wearing face masks? How many will do silly things just because they trust the government or a politicized doctor in Washington tells him to do so? How many people do their own research?
These are the issues that we should be exploring.
