I awoke this morning from a lengthy dream (very unusual for me), which gave me insights into the purpose of the Bible School that we are establishing. In discussing this with friends who are visiting from out of state, one thing led to another, and it soon became clear that I needed to share these things with a wider audience.
So, God willing, I will do a livestream at 1:00 pm (Central Time) on Tuesday, May 26. I don’t plan to interview anyone else, because I have my own thoughts to share in regard to our plans for the near and distant future. In a way it is about applying the Scriptural principles that we have been learning throughout the years to avoid the pitfalls of denominationalism. How do we set up a Kingdom model instead of a church denominational model?
This requires a new way of thinking that is largely outside of the way the church has been functioning during the Pentecostal Age. Since we are living at the end of the Pentecostal Age, we have the advantage of looking back in history and seeing what worked and what failed. By comparing it with the Kingdom model in Scripture, we can set forth a long-term goal and path that will be more in tune with the mind of God.
Today I will be working on pulling together some thoughts about this. Since my mind is focused on this, I don’t plan on doing a regular Bible study weblog today.
Next week I will post a link for the livestream. See you then.
