The winter of 2010 was quite brutal on the east coast, and this came to be known by the name Snowmageddon. It started with “twin storms” on February 5-6 and again on February 9-10.
We ourselves held a prayer campaign called Operation Snowmageddon, beginning with our San Jose conference on March 5-7, 2010 and ending with the Manassas conference on April 2-4. The purpose of the prayer campaign was to bring the revelation of truth to Washington D.C. and to our nation in general.
Snow and Hail as Biblical Types
Job 38:22, 23 tells us,
22 Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, 23 which I have reserved for the time of distress, for the day of war and battle?
In Exodus 9:22, 23 Moses brought hail upon Egypt as one of the ten plagues. This was an act of spiritual warfare in “the day of war and battle.” Centuries later, the psalmist wrote about these ten plagues, and mentioned the hail in Psalm 105:32,
32 He gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.
Rain was considered a blessing (Deuteronomy 28:12), as it would water the ground and make it produce fruit. The former and latter rains also represented outpouring of the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Truth (John 14:17)—which is the word of God. Hail was a hardened form of rain. It is the revelation of truth that comes in the form of divine judgment.
Isaiah 28:2 says,
2 Behold, the Lord has a strong and mighty agent; as a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction, like a storm of mighty overflowing waters, He has cast it down to the earth with His hand.
Isaiah 28 is the great Pentecostal chapter of the Old Testament, depicting “the drunkards of Ephraim” (Isaiah 28:1) who had refused to hear the word of the Lord in their own Hebrew language. For this reason, God gave them His word in a foreign tongue through the Assyrians, and this was a word of divine judgment—hail. Isaiah 28:11 says,
11 Indeed, He will speak to this people through stammering lips and a foreign tongue.
Tongues is thus brought about because the carnal minds of men do not believe the word of the Lord. For this reason the word of the Lord is given “like a storm of mighty overflowing waters,” that is, in a flood that overcomes the carnal minds. So Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:21, 22,
21 In the Law [Isaiah 28:11] it is written, “By men of strange tongues and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people, and even so they will not listen to Me,” says the Lord. 22 So then, tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign, not to unbelievers but to those who believe.
Paul considered Isaiah’s writings to be part of the Law, but he probably also was thinking of the law of tribulation in Deuteronomy 28:49,
49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down, a nation whose language you shall not understand.
Certainly Isaiah had this passage in mind, and I have no doubt that the apostle knew this as well. For this reason, Paul says clearly that tongues apply to unbelievers, whereas prophecy (in one’s own language) applies to believers. Unbelievers are thus judged by tongues, whereas believers are blessed by prophecy. Interpretation of tongues bridges the two, so that the “hail” is turned into “rain.”
In this case the carnal mind itself is the unbeliever, for, as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:14,
14 But a natural [psuchikos, “soulish”] man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually appraised.
One’s soul—our inner “soulish man”—cannot comprehend spiritual things. Only our spirit—our inner “spiritual man”—can understand spiritual things. Hence, the soul itself is an unbeliever and therefore is given the sign of tongues which must then be interpreted by the spiritual gift that has been given to someone’s spiritual man.
In effect, this melts the hail and turns it to rain, so that it may bless us with the word of God.
The spiritual purpose of hail is set forth in Isaiah 28;17, “hail will sweep away the refuge of lies.” In other words, hail is truth, which alone can eliminate lies. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, Jesus said, which can manifest in two ways: rain or hail.
During Operation Snowmageddon in 2010, we understood that the prayer campaign would bring hail to the lies and deception of the unbelievers in the US government. The snow and hail would “sweep away the refuge of lies” in a forceful and even destructive manner, but we knew that this would also bring water to the ground and make the nation fruitful in the end.
The Cross-Country Journey
I began the San Jose conference with a teaching on “Signs and Prophecy,” and from there we began the long journey across the country to Manassas, VA, which was near Washington D.C. The journey, as I said earlier, drew upon the pattern of the Apostle Paul in his journey to Rome. The ship carrying Paul was shipwrecked on the Island of Melita (Malta), and then the second ship, “The Twins,” brought him to the mainland of Italy.
On March 11 we arrived home in the Twin Cities, and on March 30 we continued our journey to Manassas, not far from the nation’s capital. Recall that Washington D.C. is the American Rome. As we journeyed, we went with signs following (Mark 16:17 KJV). On March 30, the day we left home, part of Nero’s palace in Rome, called the “House of Gold,” collapsed in a rainstorm.
Part of the ceiling over the palace of the Roman emperor Nero has collapsed in Rome, prompting fresh concerns over the stability of the ancient complex.
The damaged section at the Domus Aurea (House of Gold) complex was about 60 sq m (645 sq ft), officials say. No-one was injured.
Art official Antonello Vodret said it was one of the biggest collapses at the monument in the past 50 years.
Officials believe it was caused by water damage.
The collapse of the tunnel section of Hadrian's Baths, on top of the House of Gold, happened at about 1000 local time on Tuesday, officials said.
"Think 2,000 years of history, think of all the rain of the past couple of months," Umberto Broccoli, another Rome art official, told reporters….
Completed in AD68 - the year Nero committed suicide - the sprawling palace was called the House of Gold because of the amount of gold leaf which adorned much of it.

Victory in Operation Snowmageddon
In the middle of the Manassas conference, on April 3, 2010, we declared victory in Operation Snowmageddon. A few days later, Washington state was struck by a major snowstorm and hail. We have observed for many years the connection between Washington State and Washington D.C. We often see signs in the State of spiritual events or conditions in Washington D.C. So this snow storm was an indicator of soon-coming revelation of truth in the nation's capital.
God knows they need it.
However, when we declared victory in 2010, we had no idea when this victory would actually be seen in the world. We did not know the time frame in which this would be fulfilled. As it turned out, it would be ten years before the spiritual hailstorm would begin. The lockdowns began to be imposed on America (and the world) on March 20, 2020, marking the start of the final battle of “Armageddon” (Revelation 16:16 KJV).
Armageddon is the spiritual name of the gathering place where the nations are brought to divine judgment. It is not the tiny plain of Megiddo in old Israel. It is a world-wide battle where the kings and governments of all nations are gathered (Revelation 16:14). The judgment comes with “huge hailstones” (Revelation 16:21), as God destroys the entire Babylonian system of men’s governments.
In 2020 we began to see this emerge into the earth. What began in 2010 as Snowmageddon manifested ten years later as Armageddon. Most people, however, have not recognized this, because their end-time model of Armageddon is based on their incorrect view of the Israeli state and the nature of that final battle. They are looking for the rapture, the rise of “The Antichrist” and a seven-year tribulation prior to the fall of Babylon.
They think that uniformed troops will march against Israel and engage in conventional warfare in the plain of Megiddo. This blinds them to what is actually happening right before their eyes, as millions of people are being killed, not by the coronavirus, but by the great genetic experiment infamously called a “vaccine.” No troops need to march to Megiddo. They are being killed in their own countries by the deception of “sorcery” (Revelation 18:23). The Greek word is pharmakeia, from which we get our word pharmacy, “drug store.”
So the question is this: When the sixth angel poured out his bowl of wine upon the Euphrates in Revelation 16:12, how were the nations gathered together “for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty” in Revelation 16:14? God used “three unclean spirits like frogs” which were “spirits of demons” coming from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
Through sorcery, these unclean spirits deceived the people into gathering at Armageddon. The people were deceived by their confidence in the big drug dealers of our time who exercise great power over the nations. This is not the first time they have killed many people with their drugs, but I believe it is the final mass murder before they are exposed.
Our deliverance from Babylon is coming through hail before the rain of the Holy Spirit is sent. This hail is a foreign tongue which few are able to understand or interpret. Yet when I look back at our victory in Operation Snowmageddon in 2010, I am confident that this was a precursor to today’s Armageddon and that we will again emerge victorious in battle.
Always keep in mind that the hail—as with tongues—is a sign given to the soulish unbelievers, not to the believers who are led by the Spirit of God. This is God’s battle, which He cannot lose. The mighty men of Babylon have been deceived by their own unclean frogs into thinking that they can actually win this battle. We, however, have faith that God is fully in control of this war, no matter how bad it may appear and regardless of the media’s Babylonian bias.
