The work of Elisha in 2010 took us across the country from a conference in San Jose, California in March 2010 to Manassas, Virginia in April. We held three conferences in Manassas in three consecutive years, designed to emphasize the prophetic role of Manasseh, son of Joseph. His name prophesied of the lost tribes of Israel—specifically the fact that the tribes of Joseph were to be lost and presumed dead for many centuries.
Part of the work of Elisha was to remember them. We were to reveal Joseph and recover his lost birthright. Manasseh’s prophetic role was thus broken by three witnesses—three Passover conferences. The first was the Passover conference on April 10-12, 2009, where the Elisha ministry itself was launched. The second was held on April 2-4, 2010. The third was held on April 22-24, 2011.
CORRECTION: I had written earlier that Martha Barley led the group in 2009 in the Isaiah 61:1-3 prayer, launching the Elisha work. I see from my notes that she actually did so at the third Manasseh conference on April 22, 2011. I will make this correction when this is eventually printed in book form. (Sorry, these conferences tend to run together. I am glad that I kept a journal.)
Remembering Joseph
The feast of Passover originally remembered (or memorialized) Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, the house of bondage. To Christians, it remembers the death of Christ, who was the One like Moses (Deuteronomy 18:18, 19; Acts 3:22, 23), because He has led us out of the bondage of sin. Moses was only a prophetic type of Christ. Hence, at Passover we remember Moses but also understand that his work prophesied of One greater who was yet to come.
The remembrance of Christ was established at His first appearance through communion (1 Corinthians 11:24, 25). That is, we were to remember His first work as the King of Judah, which He accomplished at the cross. Now, however, in His second appearance as Joseph, we must remember His birthright. Hence, we testify that He is the rightful Heir both of the scepter of Judah as well as the birthright of Joseph.
The work of Elisha was launched at Passover in Manassas in 2009. The combination of time and place three years in a row was meant to reveal and remember the two works of Christ. In doing this, the Elisha work was required to reveal Joseph’s identity, thereby ending the time of Manasseh’s forgetfulness and the loss of the birthright holder.
The prophetic type of this remembrance was set forth in Genesis 45:26-28, when Joseph’s brothers carried the news to their father, Israel, that “Joseph is still alive, and indeed he is ruler over all the land of Egypt” (Genesis 45:26). This event prophesied of greater things to come in the latter days in the first part of the work of Elisha.
The timing of this memorial coincided with the year 2010, which, as I pointed out earlier, was 7 x 490 years after the Jordan crossing, as well as 6 x 390 years from the fall of Samaria in 721 B.C., when the tribes of Joseph were exiled to Assyria and ultimately “lost.” The Elisha message in 2010 can be summed up as this: Joseph is alive and will no longer be forgotten. As Christ receives His birthright, so also do the sons of God share in His birthright.
Essentially, this is a proclamation to prepare the way for Christ’s second coming, where the sons of God will be revealed and manifested to the world, as prophesied in Romans 8:19,
19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing [apokalupsis, “unveiling, revelation, manifestation”] of the sons of God.
The Elisha ministry prepares the way for Christ’s second coming as Joseph. Those who are of the Elisha company are advocates of Christ’s right of birth. The message of Sonship has taken top priority and is the message of our time. Whereas in times past, we were called to remember Christ’s first work on the cross, our message today adds the truth of His birthright. The birthright message of Sonship does not replace the cross but reveals the purpose of the cross, which is to unveil the sons of God in the latter days.
Crossing the Rubicon
After the conference in San Jose in March 2010, ten of us were led to cross the Rubicon River where it converges with the American River. To get there we had to travel on Highway 49, not far from Sacramento.
The Rubicon in California was named after the Rubicon in northern Italy, made famous when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon in 49 B.C. to take control of Rome. The Rubicon at the time formed the northern boundary of Italy, and the Roman senate had specifically ordered Julius Caesar to disband his army before crossing the Rubicon. Knowing that he was being recalled in order to give up his governor’s position and perhaps might even be executed, Caesar defied the senate’s orders and crossed the Rubicon with his army.
As he crossed the Rubicon, he was heard muttering, “alea lacta est,” which means “the die is cast.” He would either take power in Rome or would be executed for treason. Hence, “crossing the Rubicon” became a metaphor for the point of no return.
So on Monday, March 8, 2010 God led us to “cross the Rubicon” where it met the American River to begin the long trip across the country toward Manassas, VA. This marked the point of no return in our march toward the American “Rome,” which we call Washington D.C. (It is only a short distance from Manassas to Washington D.C.)
In the original title deed of the property that later became Washington D.C., the owner of the deed (dated June 5, 1663) was named Francis Pope. The highest point in Washington D.C. is called Jenkins Point. In the 1790’s, when the city was actually built, it was owned by Daniel Carroll—the brother of Catholic Bishop John Carroll.
David Ovason tells us “that in earlier times the hill had been called Rome” (The Secret Architecture of our Nation’s Capital, p. 8).
When the city was surveyed in preparation for building the nation’s capital, they placed the White House on lot number 666. The street design was set forth in the shape of a Satanic pentagram to imprint Baphomet’s image upon the city. The White House was situated at the “mouth” of Baphomet in order to make the presidents become the mouthpiece or spokesmen of Baphomet.
The small inlet from the Potomac River was known as the Tiber, named after the Tiber River that flows past Rome itself. It is obvious that this land in Maryland (the Catholic colony) was actually owned by the Pope himself.
Whether or not there was an actual man by the name of Francis Pope is a matter of debate. For a fuller explanation of Washington D.C., see The Wars of the Lord, chapter 39.
Hence, when we crossed the Rubicon on March 8, 2010, we understood that we were passing the point of no return in a spiritual war against Rome in its final form known as Mystery Babylon. In essence, we were claiming spiritual dominion over the American Rome. We were laying claim to America itself for the Kingdom of God. We were asserting Jesus Christ’s right to rule America and taking back the country from the usurpers who had claimed it for Baphomet.
Paul’s Journey to Rome
When Paul was taken to Rome (as a prisoner), he was put on a ship which soon found itself driven by “a violent wind called Euraquilo” (Acts 27:14). The ship was wrecked on the island of Melita (Malta), but everyone made it to land safely (Acts 27:44). The castaways remained on Malta for three months until they were able to board another ship named “Twin Brothers” (Acts 28:11 NASB), or “Castor and Pollux” (KJV). The ship was named for the two brightest stars in the constellation Gemini, “The Twins.”
The constellation itself pictures the two natures of Christ: Divine and Human. It also pictures Christ’s peaceful reign as the Prince of Peace. So the two weapons, club and bow, are at rest. The Hebrew name for Gemini is Propus, “the Branch spreading.” In Zechariah 3:8 and 6:12, the Messiah is known as “The Branch.”
Gemini pictures Christ’s coming to overthrow Lepus, “The Enemy,” whose brightest star is (in Hebrew) Arnebo, “the enemy of Him who comes.” Lepus is one of the three decans of Gemini, along with Canis Major (actually, Sirius, “The Prince”) and Canis Minor, which, in the Denderah Zodiac of Egypt, is known as Sebak, “conquering, victorious.” Thus, originally, Gemini was meant to prophesy of the coming of Christ conquering the enemy and then reigning as the Prince of Peace.
The ship named The Twins thus took Paul and the other passengers to Syracuse and then to Rhegium, and finally to Puteoli on the mainland south of Rome. From there they traveled by land north to Rome, where Paul spent the next two years awaiting his trial before Nero (Acts 28:30). As we know from church history, Paul received legal help from Seneca, who had been Nero’s tutor, and Paul was then acquitted. He then made his fourth and final missionary journey first to Spain, then to Britain, and returned by the land route to Macedonia, where he was finally arrested a second time, brought to Rome, and executed in 67 A.D.
For our purposes, the important point is that the ship that finally brought Paul to Puteoli, Italy was named “The Twins.” The ship did not bring him to Rome itself but was part of the journey, and it prophesied my own journey to the American Rome. Our purpose was to participate in the battle against Christ’s ungodly rivals for authority over the earth.
After crossing the Rubicon in California, we drove home to the Twin Cities, where we lived. Though we lived in Minneapolis, the other “twin city” was St. Paul, named for the apostle himself. We spent two weeks in the Twin cities before continuing our journey to Manassas (near Washington).
There we concluded a prayer campaign called Operation Snowmageddon.
