Florida’s Governor DeSantis has pardoned all those who were arrested or prosecuted for violating the unconstitutional health mandates during the lockdowns. This sounds strangely like a Jubilee declaration.
Anyone penalized for violating Covid health guidelines in Florida has now officially been pardoned, after the state clemency board approved Gov. Ron DeSantis' decision on Wednesday, the latest move from the governor to strip authority away from local governments when it comes to the Covid pandemic.
The four-member Board of Executive Clemency voted 3-1 on Wednesday to approve the pardons.
State Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, a Democrat running to unseat DeSantis in 2022, was the member who voted to deny the pardons.
The order to lift all restrictions is set to take effect July 1.
