The year 2000 marked the time when the breach in the walls of the New Jerusalem was repaired. This was represented primarily by the San Francisco work, when we inspected the Golden Gate Bridge on July 16, 2000. For prophetic purposes, the prayer wall around America was an earthly manifestation of the wall around the New Jerusalem.
The 52 years since 1948 signified two things, one positive and the other negative. The Latter Rain outpouring of the Spirit had begun on February 14, 1948. Their prayers had built a solid wall of defense with their revelation of the feast of Tabernacles, church government, and the restoration of all things.
But opposition to their revelation also created a breach in the wall at San Francisco, which the Net of Prayer was called to address in 1981. The NOP’s warfare in the 1980’s began to repair that breach, and this was fully repaired on July 15, 2000. We then inspected the work at the Golden Gate Bridge the next day on July 16.
On the negative side, the breach in the New Jerusalem wall was caused by the church’s judgment of San Francisco, where it was being said that “if God does not judge San Francisco, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.” Divine judgment is a good thing, as long as the judgment is designed to correct and restore in the long run. But when judgment is an end in itself, resulting in permanent loss, it creates a breach in the prayer wall.
The Breach in the Wall
City walls establish boundaries and defend against unlawful intruders who refuse to enter the city through its gates. The walls and gates of the New Jerusalem, described in Revelation 21:12-21, are the laws of the Kingdom. These walls provide moral boundaries and demand that all who enter the city must go through the gates, rather than try to scale the wall.
In Lamentations 2:8, 9, the prophet Jeremiah lamented over Jerusalem, saying,
8 The Lord determined to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion. He has stretched out a line, He has not restrained His hand from destroying, and He has caused the rampart and wall to lament; they have languished together. 9 Her gates have sunk into the ground, He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the nations; the law is no more…
When the law of God is destroyed, the wall of the New Jerusalem is breached and broken down. Unclean people then enter the city and defile it, turning it into a den of robbers, a hideout where robbers can find refuge from the law. This was the condition of Jerusalem in Jeremiah’s day (Jeremiah 7:11) and again in Jesus’ day (Matthew 21:13). Twice, it was the reason for Jerusalem’s destruction.
The same reason exists today, due to men’s traditions which have been used to put away the law (Matthew 15:9). When religions function by men’s opinions of the law, rather than by revelation of the mind of God, they turn from lawfulness to legalism.
This is the fundamental problem in both Christianity and Judaism. Much of Christianity has put away the law outright, replacing it with church laws which seem right to their leaders. They retain whatever laws of God that they agree with, but they give themselves the right to veto any laws that they disagree with.
So, for example, they believe that theft is a sin, but they think that usury is righteous. They think that sending thieves to prison is a righteous act and know little or nothing about putting thieves to work to pay restitution to their victims.
Judaism pretends to follow the laws of God, but they do so hypocritically, as Isaiah 29:13 and Matthew 15:8, 9 tell us. They do not apply the law of God equally to all, as the law demands in Numbers 15:15, 16, for they distinguish between Jews and Gentiles. Jews, they say, are to follow 613 laws, but Gentiles are responsible to follow only the “Noahide laws” in Genesis 7:1-7.
Furthermore, Jewish men were privileged to approach God in the inner court of the temple, while women and Gentiles were to remain in the outer court. There was no command in the law of Moses nor in the revelation of David to build such a wall. Hence, this ungodly wall of division was abolished by Christ (Ephesians 2:14).
The church has rebuilt this dividing wall in the past century by its teaching that Jews are God’s chosen people, based on their presumed genealogy back to Abraham. This teaching has caused a breach in the wall of the New Jerusalem while building a carnal wall of men’s traditions within the church itself. (See my short pamphlet, Who are God’s Chosen People?)
The Pope Recognizes “Israel” on March 21, 2000
On March 21, 2000 Pope John Paul II arrived in Jerusalem in order to recognize that the state of Israel was actually “Israel.” This was unprecedented in Roman Catholic history. Popes had previously refused to call that nation “Israel,” on account of its doctrine of Replacement Theology. In other words, they believed that the (Roman) Church had replaced Israel as the chosen ones.
Replacement Theology was not really accurate, of course, because God replaced no one. The chosen people were always a remnant—not the whole nation. In Elijah’s day, there were only 7,000 chosen ones out of the entire nation. King Ahab was not one of God’s chosen people, even if he could trace his genealogy back to Abraham.
The overcomers were confirmed to be God’s chosen people on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to the 120 in the upper room instead of at the temple, where the high priest was conducting his Pentecostal duties. God did not “replace” anyone, because the high priest and his followers were never part of the chosen remnant.
Nonetheless, when the pope applied the term “Israel” to the Israeli state, he signaled the end of the church’s belief in the doctrine of Replacement Theology. In its place, he deferred to the Israeli state as the true Israel on racial grounds. In doing so, he made history and essentially put the Roman Church under the authority of the Jews as if they were “chosen” to rule the earth.
Of course, great swaths of the evangelical, fundamentalist, and Pentecostal world had already done this more than a century ago. By submitting to the Jews as “Israel,” they all made it clear that their followers were not overcomers. Jacob was not born an Israelite. He became an Israelite only after wrestling with the angel at the age of 98. He overcame his flesh and by losing the wrestling match, he finally recognized the sovereignty of God. By losing, he prevailed; therefore, he was given the title Israel, which means “God rules.”
The bottom line is that on March 21, 2000 the Roman Church joined the evangelicals in proclaiming that the divinely-appointed rulers of the earth in the age to come are those who claim fleshly descent from Abraham, whether or not they believe in Jesus Christ. This was a watershed moment in Kingdom history, and it set the stage for the climactic victory of the house of David on November 30, 2000.
The Camp David Summit
On September 13, 1993, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Chairman Yassir Arafat, made an agreement to resolve their disputes within seven years. Rabin was soon assassinated by his own intelligence organization, and this effectively ended any hope of establishing a permanent agreement.
As the seven-year period drew to a close, President Bill Clinton invited Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and PLO Chairman Yassir Arafat to Camp David in July 2000 in an attempt to bring peace to the region. They seemed to make progress, but when they tackled the issue of Jerusalem itself, the meetings became heated. The meetings ended in failure on July 25, 2000 with no agreement at all.

On the same day, the Concorde jetliner crashed in Paris.

I then heard the Spirit say, “Peace has been taken from the earth.” The name Concorde in English is concord, which means “a treaty establishing peaceful relations.”
It is significant that these meetings failed at Camp David. My understanding is that Camp David, at least in this case, represented a carnal attempt by the house of Saul to exercise authority that was no longer his. The true Camp David would have succeeded. But “Saul” died in 1993. His son Ish-bosheth reigned another two years (1995), and when he was assassinated, Israel had no king at all, except for the single tribe of Judah, which had crowned David as its king at Hebron.
David’s authority was real but limited to a single tribe for seven years and six months (2 Samuel 5:4, 5). This “Hebron” phase of David’s rule extended from May 30, 1993 until November 30, 2000.
The summit was also led by our modern "King Ahab," that is, Bill Clinton. Knowing this, it did not seem likely that he would succeed. When the Camp David summit ended in failure on July 25, 2000, I discussed the revelation with my friend, Ron Oja the following week. Our question was this: When will we see peace taken from the earth? What time cycle? Our conclusion was that the word would be fulfilled on the 414th day from July 26, 2000, as this was the factor of Cursed Time.
So we marked this watch date on our calendar: September 11, 2001.
