April 8 is the preparation day for Passover, Abib 14.
April 10 is Good Friday.
History
The early church developed two different traditions in keeping the feast. The Eastern churches, claiming to follow the lead of the Apostle John, kept Passover on the original Hebrew calendar dates, regardless of which day of the week they fell. However, the Western churches claimed to follow the lead of Peter and Paul, and they kept Good Friday because Jesus was crucified on a Friday.
A summit in 155 A.D. between Polycarp, bishop of Smyrna (representing the East) and Anicetus, bishop of Rome (representing the West) did not resolve the issue, but each side agreed to differ. The controversy took on a more serious nature in 192 when the bishop of Rome tried to force the Western view on the Eastern churches by claiming exclusive authority over all the churches. Irenaeus made a hasty trip from Gaul to Rome and forced him to back down.
Personally, I have found that God tends to honor everyone’s calendar, right or wrong. Signs occur regularly on different calendars that men use. God does not seem to be hung up on the “right” calendar.
Ten Days of Darkness
A group of us met last evening through the internet to discuss the discernment about holding a prayer campaign shortly to address the present danger and uncertainty in the world. The outcome and conclusion of this prayer, discernment, and discussion is that we should hold a prayer campaign for three days on April 8-10.
There has been talk about “ten days of darkness” from April 1-10. This idea came in an early “Q” post on November 5, 2017, where he said, “Ten days. Darkness.” A month later, December 6, 2017, someone asked the question: “I have a question. The ten days, darkness… when?” Q’s response was “Shutdown.”
Some have thus been expecting a ten-day shutdown (undefined). Right now with the lockdowns spreading across the country, we are as close to a “shutdown” as we have ever seen. People may be interpreting this incorrectly, but many seem to think that it applies to April 1-10, 2020.
Some have also interpreted this to mean that the electricity will be turned off for ten days. I do not believe that will happen. Even Q has said more than once that the power grid is safe and that the internet will not be shut down. So if there is any validity to what Q is saying, the power will not be shut off.
Nonetheless, we are now coming to the Passover season, where the ninth plague of three days of darkness may again be relevant as God delivers His people. In such times of plague, we must always remember that disaster for the non-believers is paralleled by good news for believers.
Protection Under the Blood of Jesus
It is clear that 2020 is an important year in world history and will be remembered in the future. The coronavirus, real or otherwise, bad or mild, is being used by both sides of the political divide to try to gain an advantage.
We ourselves are nearing the end of the second cleansing period that comes at the beginning of each Prophetic Year. The Prophetic Year began November 14, 2019 on the 318th day of the year. The first 76-day cycle ended January 29, 2020. The second 76-day cleansing cycle ends April 13 (inclusive count) or 14 (exclusive count). This is immediately after the Passover season but still within the week of Unleavened Bread.
With the Knoxville Passover conference cancelled this year, due to political decrees forbidding gatherings of more than 10 people, it suggests the fulfillment of Passover in the original manner. Exodus 12:22 says,
22 You shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and apply some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts; and none of you shall go outside the door of his house until morning.
They remained in lockdown during the night. In this way the Israelites remained “under the blood” for their protection from the tenth plague. The tenth plague killed all the firstborn of man and beast except for those who were protected by the blood of the Lamb of God. We believe that as part of the body of Christ, we are the firstborn sons of God. Jesus Himself was called “the firstborn from the dead” (Colossians 1:18).
Isaiah 26:17-18 speaks of the pregnancy and childbirth theme. Verse 19 speaks of the dead being raised, saying, “the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.” Hence, resurrection is the earth giving birth. Then Isaiah 26:20, 21 says,
20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms and close your doors behind you; hide for a little while until the indignation runs its course. 21 For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; and the earth will reveal her bloodshed and will no longer cover her slain.
Isaiah was seeing a type of future Passover, where the believers were to go into lockdown “until the indignation runs its course.” It is no stretch to see the Passover pattern at play here. We read in Exodus 12:23,
23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.
The following morning, Israel as a nation was birthed out of Egypt as God’s firstborn (Exodus 4:22). Hosea 11:1 says, “out of Egypt I called My son.” Israel’s father was God; Israel’s mother was Egypt (prophetic Hagar). By keeping Passover, they were redeemed with a lamb, according to the law in Exodus 13:12, 13 and thus became “the sheep of His pasture” (Psalm 100:3).
Their status, however, depended on their faith in the blood of the Lamb of God.
The following prayers do not have to wait until April 8, of course. Some of you may wish to start these earlier or even continue them afterward. Further, these are just "model prayers" to bring us into unity and to assist those who need to follow a model. Yet the final rule is to be led by the Spirit.
Please print these if you can so that no one is dependent upon the power company or the internet.
Deliverance Prayer for April 8, 2020
Heavenly Father, we declare our faith in the blood of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. We apply the blood of Jesus to our foreheads, that we may be marked as Your people, being of one mind with You, having Your signature and nature written on our foreheads. We apply the blood of Jesus to our ears as well, for we have heard Your word and believe that it is true.
We ask now for your protection over us from all harm, from all plagues, and from the destroyer that you have sent upon those who refuse to let us go. We acknowledge You in all that you do and stand in agreement with Your judgments in the earth, for we know that these are designed to teach righteousness to those who are in darkness. Thank-you for calling us as Your firstborn and as co-heirs with Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God.
Scripture Prayer: Psalm 46
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. (Selah.)
Come, behold the works of the Lord, who has wrought desolations in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariots with fire.
(God says:) “Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.”
(We respond:) :) The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. (Selah.)
Deliverance Prayer for April 9, 2020

Scripture Prayer: Psalm 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge.
His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you. You will only look on with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place.
No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and cobra. The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.
(God says:) :) “Because He has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.”

Scripture Prayer: Variety
Father, in these days of darkness, “Let the high praises of Your Word be in our mouths, O Lord.” [Psalm 149:6 KJV]
Thank You for Your guidance through Isaiah “for such a time as this” when You say:
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over-past. [Isaiah 26:20 KJV]
For, just as Israel observed the Pass-over in days of old, You show the purpose of the darkness that You called Night in the beginning. [Genesis 1:5 KJV]:
For… You have brought Israel out of Egypt by night. [Deuteronomy 16:1 KJV]
We receive Your Divine protection now through the high praise of Your Word through Isaiah:
With the soul we have desired You in the night,
Yes, by the spirit within, we will seek You early;
For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. [Isaiah 26:9 KJV]
This is the high praise of our God. :)
Hallelujah!!
Amen and Amen
