Considering the widespread view that Hillary Clinton is still preparing to run for president again in 2020, it is not likely that this will even be possible by that time. Just ask former US Attorney General, Michael Mukasey.

“Apparently, the FBI forgot to visit the Cornell Law Library. Word for word from the Cornell Law Library, Former United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey tells MSNBC that not only are Hillary Clinton’s private email and server illegal, her mishandling of government property (e.g. State Department emails) “disqualifies” her from holding any federal office…”
The article quotes the federal law Title 18, section 2071b, which deals with the way in which government officials mishandle government records. It reads,
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.
I suspect that Trump would not enforce this, because I think he would love to run against her again in 2020. However, the election commission might not accept her registration as a presidential candidate.
