Dr. Steve Pieczenik, an insider in the CIA and other US government intelligence agencies, is a credible source of inside information, probably more than most other people who comment on world events. He says that President Trump’s recent missile attack on Syria was mostly to impress China’s Xi Jinping about Trump’s seriousness about “red lines” in relation to North Korea’s recent threats.
He says that the missile attack was on a largely abandoned air base in Syria, which was insignificant from a military standpoint. Trump informed Russia and even Syria about the coming attack, but did not inform China. The attack was timed to occur just as Trump and Jinping were sitting down to dinner together in Florida. The message was clear, he says.

Now we learn that China got the hint. An “editorial in the military-focused Global Times tabloid, owned and operated by the Communist Party’s People’s Daily newspaper” has published an editorial that draws a clear “red line” that North Korea cannot cross in its nuclear threats.
Headline:
China Threatens to Bomb North Korea’s Nuclear Facilities If It Crosses Beijing’s “Bottom Line”
With everyone putting down new and/or revised "red lines", be it on Syria or North Korea, it was now China's turn to reveal its "red" or rather "bottom line", and in a harshly worded editorial titled "The United States Must Not Choose a Wrong Direction to Break the DPRK Nuclear Deadlock on Wednesday" Beijing warned it would attack North Korea's facilities producing nuclear bombs, effectively engaging in an act of war, if North Korea crosses China's "bottom line."
The editorial in the military-focused Global Times tabloid, owned and operated by the Communist Party's People's Daily newspaper, said that North Korea’s nuclear activities must not jeopardize northeastern China, and that if the North impacts China with its illicit nuclear tests through either "nuclear leakage or pollution", then China will respond with force.
It appears that China has gotten the message that Trump will not tolerate a spoiled brat petty dictator playing with nuclear toys, threatening its neighbors.
We wondered why China was amassing 150,000 troops on the North Korean border.

Was it to defend North Korea from a US invasion? Or was it to invade North Korea to preempt a US invasion?
It appears that the editorial has told us the answer. China’s troops are sending a message to North Korea.
One more thing.... When President Trump was announcing to the world that he had ordered a missile strike on the Syrian air base, he ended it by saying, "God bless America and the world."
Every American president has asked for God's blessing on America. But I suspect that Trump is the first to ask God's blessing on the whole world. Since most prophecy is inadvertent, it sounds to me as if Trump just prophesied the start of the new apostleship that is coming, in which the Abrahamic blessing on the whole world is invoked.
