Last evening the Holy Spirit nudged me while talking to my friend, Phil. I then told him, “I feel a prayer campaign coming for Wednesday.”
Later that night while in prayer with Darla, the Lord spoke plainly, “Cleanse the House.” He told Darla, “76 days.” I did some calculation and discovered that from today to our last day at the Chateau on the Lake in Branson, MO for the Tabernacles Conference is 76 days.
On praying further, the Father told us to do a two-day prayer campaign Tuesday and Wednesday to begin this 76-day cleansing cycle. Tuesday is Day 1, and Day 76 is Sunday, October 4, 2015, the final day of our conference.
What does it mean?
Since this came up unexpectedly, I am only now beginning to understand it. However, I am finding that my conversation with Phil yesterday had already given us clues, even though we did not realize what was happening. Some Scriptures we discussed were:
1 John 3:3, “And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
John 15:3, “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.”
In our discussion, we related this time of cleansing to the feast of Pentecost, in which the baptism of fire was sent to purify our hearts and to purge His threshing floor of chaff, or flesh (Matthew 3:11, 12). We took note that Pentecost stands between Passover and Tabernacles. Passover is how we are begotten of God; Pentecost is our time of spiritual growth and cleansing; Tabernacles is the time to be “born,” which most people refer to as being “born again.”
The Twenty Year Pattern: 1995-2015
At the Passover season of 1995, while we were living in Seattle, David and Tina had just purchased a new house. They asked me to dedicate the house to the Lord. We were led to “inspect the house” on April 3, 1995. A week later, on April 10 we drove to their house again, and then we pronounced it “clean.” We noted at the time that April 10 coincided with the tenth day of the first month on the Hebrew calendar—the day that the lambs were to be selected and then inspected for four days until the 14th day of the month (Exodus 12:3).
Running parallel to the house of David was another inspection. On April 14, 1995, which was also Good Friday, Abib 14, three of us went to the hill overlooking downtown Seattle, known as Capital Hill. We understood that it represented Washington D.C., which some believe means District of Criminals. There we pronounced the national house to be leprous and unclean.
We noted at the time that April 14 was the 76th day from January 28, 1995—the day the same three men had gone to Capital Hill the first time to do a prophetic work. Jesus had instructed us to go to the top of Capital Hill, to the corner of John and 17th Street and read the entire chapter of John 17. God said to read it and “watch what I do.” When we finished reading the word, we decided to walk around and observe what God would do. We soon noticed a lot of people running out of buildings and shops. We asked them what was going on. “Didn’t you feel the earthquake?” they asked. No, we had not felt it. But as it turned out, a 5.0 R earthquake had struck nearby under Federal Way, and everyone on Capital Hill had felt it—except for the three of us.
We understood from this that an “earthquake” (political or economic) would occur under Washington D.C., which is the real “Federal Way,” at some point in the future. Yet the fact that the sign on January 28, 1995 was a 5.0 R quake suggests that there would be a “grace” factor in this. Five is the number of grace.
Even so, 76 days after the quake, on April 14, 1995, we were led to pronounce the national house “unclean.” This was in contrast to the house of David, which was pronounced “clean” on April 10, 1995.
Obviously, these cleansings were tied to the feast of Passover. The symbolism was of two houses and two lambs being selected. One passed inspection, while the other did not. One was qualified, the other disqualified.
But now, 20 years later, we are to undergo the same kind of house cleansing leading to the feast of Tabernacles. It appears that we are again in a time of inspection, where both the house of David and the national house have been selected. It is clear that the house of David will again be found “clean,” while the national house will again be found “unclean.”
This is about divine acceptance or rejection in regard to the call to rule in the Kingdom in the age to come. Which one is part of the Lamb company? Which arnion is like the Amnos? The arnion (“little lamb”) must be a small version of the Amnos (“Big Lamb”). We believe that the overcomer company that is of the house of David (Christ) qualifies as the clean lambs, while the nation itself is disqualified for its blemishes and sickness.
Isaiah prophesies of our time when he calls the house of Israel “Sodom” and “Gomorrah” (Isaiah 1:10). He was speaking of the nation itself, which he described in Isaiah 1:5, 6,
5 Where will you be stricken again, as you continue in your rebellion? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart is faint. 6 From the sole of the foot even to the head there is nothing sound in it, only bruises, welts, and raw wounds, not pressed out or bandaged, nor softened with oil.
In other words, the nation was so full of bruises and wounds that there was no clear spot on the body to be “stricken.” Every square inch on this body was wounded or sick, from head to foot. It is Isaiah’s way of saying that the nation had rebelled against God in every way possible.
Fortunately, not everyone in the house of Israel was in rebellion against God. One of the main themes of the prophet was the “remnant” prophecies. He says in Isaiah 1:9,
9 Unless the Lord of hosts had left us a few survivors ["a remnant"], we would be like Sodom, we would be like Gomorrah.
In other words, it is the remnant—the overcomers—who prevent the utter destruction of the house of Israel. Note that in the original pattern, Lot represented the remnant in Sodom. The angel who came to destroy the city told him in Genesis 19:22, “Hurry, escape there, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” In other words, the presence of the overcomers prevented the destruction of the city, because God will not destroy the overcomers along with the wicked.
In Isaiah’s prophecy, which applies to the modern house of Israel (not the Israeli state), God must either remove the overcoming remnant before destroying the nation, or, if they remain, God must send a different kind of fire that will reflect grace, rather than judgment. We have no revelation about God removing the remnant from the house of Israel. They will not be raptured out, nor will they have to escape a fiery judgment, as so many believe. No, the 5.0 R quake on January 28, 1995 indicated that Washington D.C. will receive grace because of the presence of the remnant. There is an outpouring of the baptism of fire that is coming, and it will cleanse the entire nation and the world.
Pentecostal Cleansing
The 20-year interim from 1995-2015 has been like a time of Pentecost, or a Pentecostal cleansing administered by the water of “the word,” as John 15:3 tells us.
Likewise, Ephesians 5:26, 27 says,
26 that He might sanctify her [the Bride], having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless.
In the past twenty years we have done a lot of washing by the word. Because we have “this hope” (1 John 3:3), we have spent time purifying ourselves through the word. It appears now that we are coming into a final 76-day cycle of cleansing leading toward the feast of Tabernacles. It is now quite obvious why the Tabernacles conference is being held at the Chateau on the Lake in Branson.
A Chateau is a French castle or a large country house. At Passover a few months ago we witnessed the “Coronation of David,” which connected to the cleansing of the house of David in 1995. Now we are cleansing the House of David in order to establish his residence at Tabernacles. We are making preparations for the cleansed house to be occupied at Tabernacles. So it is also fitting that the Chateau would be on the shore of a lake, even as the water of the word is the agent of cleansing.
Tomorrow I will post the Model Prayer to bring us into unity and focus in the “Cleanse the House” prayer campaign. The prayer campaign itself is just for two days (July 21, 22), but it is the start of a 76-day cycle ending at the Tabernacles Conference Oct. 4.
Note also that July 21 and 22 represent the 7th and 8th day of Tabernacles on our calendar (7/21 and 7/22). October 4, 2015 is the 7th day of Tabernacles on the Hebrew calendar. That will end the time of cleansing, just in time for the actual 8th day of Tabernacles, Monday, October 5.
This prayer campaign is designed to prepare the way for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a baptism of fire upon New Sodom and New Gomorrah.
