The beast empires of Daniel 7 reached the end of their mandate to rule the nations on October 16, 2014. God’s contract with them was a period of “seven times,” which is 7 x 360 years. During this time, those empires failed to fulfill their responsibility to bring righteousness to the earth and to set the people free by the power of the Jubilee.
These nations had been given the dominion mandate that rightfully belonged to Judah, but because of Judah’s sin and failure to fulfill this Jubilee responsibility, God stripped them of it and gave it to the beast empires for a period of seven times (2,520 years), as He prophesied in Leviticus 26.
On October 12 at our Tabernacles conference in Minneapolis, we were led to bear witness to God’s decree to transfer the dominion to the saints of the Most High, as prophesied in Daniel 7:22 and 27. We understood that this was applicable on October 16, the eighth day of Tabernacles.
My assumption was that the beast nations would be in non-compliance to the divine decree immediately, but further revelation showed that God had given them a final 10-day grace period from October 16-26. Shortly after midnight, as we arrived at October 26, God finally gave us instructions for the prayer campaign to enforce the transfer of dominion.
Basic Instructions from the Word
God led my wife and I through the Word to know His instructions and His thoughts on this prayer campaign. He gave us the references, and we then looked them up in the Bible, not knowing in advance what we might find. First we heard; then we saw. These are the Scriptures He gave us, along with some of their context:
Philippians 3:20
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
Comment: Our citizenship is not in Babylon. Our first loyalty, then, is to Christ and His Kingdom. We recognize that He alone has the power “to subject all things to Himself.”
Daniel 12:7
7 And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.
Comment: Daniel was shown specifically a period of 3½ “times,” which was half of the seven times of judgment specified in the law. The book of Revelation completes this revelation, focusing on the final 3½ “times.” The time of judgment is completed “as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people,” that is, the saints of the Most High. This final shattering has occurred in the last century, as the evil ones have gained total control over the governments of the world.
John 13:17
16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master; neither is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him. 17 If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them. 18 I do not speak of all of you; I know the ones I have chosen; but it is that the Scripture may be fulfilled, “He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.”
Comment: The focus here is upon servanthood, those who recognize that they are not greater than Christ who sent them. The servants of God do not take it upon themselves to alter the plan but seek only to know the mind of their Master in order to carry out the plan faithfully. In other words, know your place and calling, and do your job. This prayer campaign is not for the Judas company that “eats My bread” but betrays Christ by trying to force Him into a carnal plan to manifest Himself in order to save His life.
Philippians 2:22
19 But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, so that I also may be encouraged when I learn of your condition. 20 For I have no one else of kindred spirit who will genuinely be concerned for your welfare. 21 For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus. 22 But you know of his proven worth that he served with me in the furtherance of the gospel like a child serving his father.
Comment: This is the example of a true servant of God. Timothy is one who is genuinely concerned for the welfare of others. It seemed that all others (believers) were seeking “their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus.” This contrast separates the ones God has “chosen” (John 13:18) from the Judas company—that is, those believers who have not learned to be God’s servants.
Colossians 3:14
12 And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone, just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14 And beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
Comment: Those who are “chosen of God” are those who bear the fruit of the Spirit, especially love. Love “is the perfect bond of unity.” The beast systems rule by fear, not by love, because in their unloving, selfish hearts, people are bonded together by fear. True unity, however, bonds people together by love alone.
After these Scriptures, I asked about the central purpose of the prayer campaign and also to know what to call it. He gave us these Scriptures:
James 3:16
13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.
Comment: The contrast here is between two hearts, the heart of the chosen ones contrasted with the heart of the beast systems. This provides the reason for the prayer campaign, for God will not allow those with hearts like beasts to rule in the Kingdom. The main focus of this word is the final phrase, “every evil thing.”
James 4:14
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow, we shall go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and also do this or that.” 16 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.
Comment: The evil and arrogant mindset of the beast systems will soon end. It is their dominion that is like “a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.” In their arrogance they believe that they will continue doing their business forever, not knowing that God has decreed a limit to their dominion.
Psalm 143:11, 12
10 Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God; let Thy good Spirit lead me on level ground. 11 For the sake of Thy name, O Lord, revive me. In Thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble. 12 And in Thy lovingkindness cut off my enemies, and destroy those who afflict my soul; for I am Thy servant.
Comment: Verse 12 was the passage that we were to use in naming the prayer campaign, except that I received permission to translate the phrase more suitably. The Hebrew word translated “destroy” is abad, from which is derived abaddon, “the destroyer.” The first meaning of the word, however, is “to be lost, to wander.” The Hebrew letters themselves show its meaning to be about leaving the house (the place of safety), and therefore it implies being lost or destroyed.
For the purposes of the prayer campaign, it indicates a dismissal from the house. God is dismissing them from the house.
The Hebrew word translated “afflict” is tsarar, which means “to bind or bind together.” Those who afflict are those who bind others and refuse to set them free by the law of Jubilee. Their bond is not the perfect bond of love, but rather the bond of fear and oppression.
Hence, our prayer campaign is named, Dismiss All Who Bind.
I then asked for a Scripture that would give an overall view of the prayer campaign and its purpose.
1 John 2:13, 14
13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father. 14 I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one. 15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Comment: Whatever spiritual age we are, we are qualified to engage in this prayer campaign as long as we love God more than the world and the things of the world system. We have been given the victory over the evil one, because Jesus Himself has already overcome the world by His death, resurrection, and ascension.
Here is a model prayer to bring us into prayer focus. The first rule, of course, is to be led by the Spirit, so you may add to this as led. We are called to pray this prayer at least once a day from October 27 to November 5.
The Model Prayer and Decree
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, sanctified by His blood and washed by the water of His Word. We come with thanksgiving and praise for the victory which You have accomplished in Christ and now again in us.
You have revealed to us that the beast empires have finished their time of dominion according to Your word. They have not fulfilled the responsibility to bring righteousness into the earth and to release Your creation from the bondage of sin. Therefore, the decree has gone forth from the throne of heaven for these beasts to step down from their position of authority, and we have borne witness of that decree on earth as it is in heaven.
They were given ten days of grace to comply with Your decree, but they have failed to do so. We declare in Your name that the beast systems are now in non-compliance to the will of heaven.
We put on the whole armor of God, having the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, and the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace. We take also the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is your Word.
We therefore take our stand with the will of God and come against the evil ones who would keep the earth in bondage to the kingdoms of this world and the unjust laws of men. Let the armies of heaven be sent forth to subdue all things under the feet of Christ, the lawful Inheritor of all things. Dismiss all those that keep the people bound in darkness and oppression. We lay claim to all that God owns by right of creation and declare the Jubilee to release the captives from all bondage into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Thank-you, Father, for answering this prayer, for we on earth only bear witness to what we have heard from heaven. Amen.
