In Luke 17:20 the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was coming. Their intent was to examine Jesus as a doctor would examine a sick patient. Jesus told them that the kingdom of God would not come in a way that could be seen with such a bad attitude. They would not be able to say, “Look, here it is!” as if discovering a major symptom of a doctrinal disease in Jesus. Rather, the Kingdom was standing right in front of them, for where He is, there is the Kingdom.
In Luke 17:24 Jesus also explained that the Kingdom would come as the dawn of a new day. As the sun moves across the sky—from east to west, as Matthew 24:27 says—becoming brighter and brighter, so also would the Kingdom increase over time.
The next illustration that Jesus gives us is the parallel with the days of Noah. Luke 17:26, 27 tells us,
26 And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it shall be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
In other words, the majority of the people were living normal lives, oblivious to the momentous event that was about to take place. In Matthew’s account, we are told that “they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away” (Matthew 24:39). Even as the flood surprised them, so also will the dawn of this new day surprise nearly all of the people today. Noah himself was given warning 120 years before the flood (Genesis 6:3). When the time of judgment drew near, he was given seven final days of preparation to bring his family and the animals into the ark (Genesis 7:4).
This may speak prophetically of the seven days of the feast of Tabernacles in our time, followed by the start of the “rain” of the Holy Spirit on the eighth day of the feast. Even so, it normally takes some time before rain turns to floods.
Present Revelation
It is our view that October 16, 2014, being the eighth day of Tabernacles this year, is a very important date. It marks the end of 2,520 years since God took the dominion mandate from the king of Judah and gave it to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. As I have explained in the past, it is actually 2,620 years of chronological time, but because Jerusalem was independent for a century from 163-63 B.C., depriving the third beast empire of its time of rule, we must add that century to the end (1914-2014).
So October 16, 2014 marks the beginning of the end of beast rule, as God is transferring the dominion mandate back to the saints of the Most High (Daniel 7:22, 27).
When I came to the office this morning to write about Noah in our series in Luke, it occurred to me that “as in the days of Noah” could have some reference to the 1,656 years from Adam to the flood. This is 4 x 414 years, or four periods of Cursed Time, as I explained in Secrets of Time. God laid a curse upon the earth in Genesis 3:17, which was the sentence from the divine court. God then gave the earth opportunity to repent—which is the purpose of Cursed Time.
God gave the earth 4 x 414 years in which to repent, but only Noah and his family found favor (Genesis 6:8). In other words, only Noah and his family were given a favorable ruling in the divine court on account of their faith. The rest of the earth was corrupt and full of violence (Genesis 6:11-13).
Therefore, God sent the flood which, as Jesus said, “destroyed them all” (Luke 17:27).
But Noah’s flood was also a prophetic type of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as I explained in Secrets of Time. The fulfillment of this “flood” in our time will certainly destroy Mystery Babylon, but God will do this by sending the Holy Spirit to cleanse the earth and set all men free in the greatest revival ever seen.
Anyway, as I contemplated this connection this morning, I thought perhaps October 16, 2014 might be 1,656 days from some important beginning point. In doing the calculation, I discovered that it takes us back to the end of Operation Snowmageddon April 3 and 4, 2010.
This opened up a whole new revelation.
Operation Snowmageddon in 2010
Washington D.C. had just been hit by two feet of snow, which the president called Snowmageddon. Snow signifies spiritual warfare (Job 38:22, 23). I wrote about this prayer campaign in the FFI for April 1, 2010.
It started immediately after our San Jose conference, which was held on the week end of March 5-7, 2010. The day after, a group of us were led to go to the Rubicon River just outside of Sacramento, CA to declare the start of Operation Snowmageddon.
The significance of the Rubicon River is that it represents “the point of no return.” It is an expression taken from Julius Caesar’s crossing of the Rubicon in 49 B.C. with his army. It was illegal for a Roman army to cross the Rubicon toward Rome without a special invitation from the Roman government. When he crossed the Rubicon, he would either take power or he would be executed for treason. The Rubicon was the point of no return.
So when our group went to the Rubicon in California, we understood that this was the start of something very important. Most notably, it was like the start of a long trip to our own “Rome,” which we call Washington D.C. Our nation’s capital was built on land that was originally called Rome. The title deed in 1663 was in the name of Francis Pope. Is it not interesting that today there is a Pope Francis in the Vatican?
We knew that we were heading toward Manassas, VA for a Passover conference just a few weeks later on April 2-4, 2010. Manassas, VA is just outside of Washington D.C.
At that Passover conference, we were led to declare the end of Operation Snowmageddon on April 3 and then to anoint the people for protection on April 4. Little did we know that 1,656 days later would come to October 16, 2014, the day that the authority of the beast empires would end with the transfer of authority to the saints of the Most High.
October 16, 2014 is 1656 days from April 3, 2010, when we declared victory in Operation Snowmageddon.
October 16, 2014 is the 1656th day from April 4, when we anointed the people for their protection. (The anointed ones stood in proxy for the entire body of overcomers worldwide, so if you were not there, you are still protected by that prayer.) This is the equivalent of Noah entering the ark.
I do not know if there will be a significant event tomorrow (Oct. 16) that others will see as the end of the beast empires. Yet we have already decreed it at our recent conference on October 12, making it applicable to the 16th. I will probably have more to report about this on the 17th.
