Yesterday, April 29, Stanley Fischer was approved by the Senate banking committee to be the second in command at the Federal Reserve. Fischer is a dual US-Israeli citizen, who had been the Governor of the Bank of Israel from 2005-2013.

Members of the committee gave the green light by voice vote to Fischer, tapped by President Barack Obama in January to be Fed Chair Janet Yellen’s number two.

Today, our bought and paid for Senators endorsed Stanley Fischer to be Vice Chair directly in line behind Janet Yellen. Basically, when Yellen is taken out for incompetence Fischer will be placed in her spot. Why is it being done this way? ...because Fischer could not have gotten the nod from Congress to be the Chairman as a standalone candidate even though he calls all the shots already!!!
