As we approach this prayer campaign, it is comforting to know (as always) that as long as we are led by the Spirit, we will always be victorious. Our victory is based upon the victory that Jesus Himself achieved in His resurrection, for all subsequent victories are derived from that one source. And so Jesus said in John 16:33,
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.
Paul continues in Romans 8:36, 37, saying,
36 Just as it is written, “For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
Obviously, Paul and others were not being put to death all day long, but his terminology shows that they were being falsely accused continuously in order to make a case for their slaughter. Nonetheless, “we overwhelmingly conquer through Him,” even as Jesus did after He was put to death on a false charge of blasphemy when He conquered death by His resurrection.
In the long-term plan of God, the beast empires of Daniel 7 were given dominion over the earth on account of the sin of Jerusalem and its refusal to hear and believe the word that Jeremiah was giving. Their dominion, I believe, was to last 2,520 years ending specifically on December 23, 2013 (as I have explained recently). This was the biblical “Great Tribulation,” which is hidden from the eyes of most in the Church, because most are focused upon a future 7-year tribulation. Hence, they have missed the obvious.
Babylon’s expiration date has arrived, and they are required by biblical law to release their captives. But the Babylonians have no intention of setting their slaves free, nor do they really believe that God will judge them for their non-compliance. The contract was for 2,520 years only, but the Babylonians have gotten used to having slaves and do not want to make the change.
The original pattern for this non-compliance is found in Jeremiah 50:33, 34, which is a prophecy about the end of Babylon’s 70-year dominion as the first of the four main beast empires:
33 Thus says the Lord of hosts, “The sons of Israel are oppressed, and the sons of Judah as well; and all who took them captive have held them fast. They have refused to let them go.”
What is the divine response to this?
34 Their Redeemer is strong, the Lord of hosts is His name; He will vigorously plead their case, so that He may bring rest to the earth, but turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon.
It is thus pictured in a courtroom setting, where God pleads their case. To plead a case first requires a case to be filed and then adjudicated. We first did this on November 29, 1993 during our Jubilee Prayer Campaign. This is now 20 years later, and that court victory now applies more fully, because we are now past the time of Babylon’s 2,520 years. Back in 1993 we had only arrived at the 2,500 year mark.
For this reason, we ought to view our present prayer campaign as a “book end” of that which was won in 1993. Though we won the court case in 1993, Babylon’s time of dominion did not expire until December 23, 2013. And now we are seeing resistance to the will of God. So now I believe we have entered the actual time when Babylon is in non-compliance with the decree of the divine court. It is therefore time to lodge a complaint against the beast of Babylon in the divine court in order to force compliance.
So in the war between Babylon and the Kings of the East, we see that the Babylonians have taken specific steps showing their refusal to conform to the time limit of their Dominion Mandate. This, I believe, will prove to be their final and fatal mistake. The Babylonians are well aware of the importance of contracts and expiration dates, yet they “refused to let them go.” Hence, they are brought to judgment not only for the misuse of the Dominion Mandate and their mistreatment of their slaves, but also for their arrogance in thinking that they can violate the contract and still win their case in the divine court. They think Yahweh of Hosts is too weak to enforce the law.
But our Redeemer is strong. He has raised up the Kings of the East, even as He raised up the original kings of the east (Medes and Persians) in the overthrow of old Babylon. Note that Jeremiah 50:34 (quoted above) shows the underlying purpose of this present court case: “so that He may bring rest to the earth.” This is more than a mere Sabbath year, where the land and slaves are given temporary rest from their labor. It is a Jubilee, where every man’s debt is cancelled and may return to His inheritance.
In other words, 2014 is the year in which God begins to take action against Babylon in the divine court to force compliance to the terms of the original 2,520 year contract, because God intends to give the earth its “rest.”
It is noteworthy that this contract was made in the divine court long ago on account of Judah’s refusal to keep its Sabbaths and to give the land its deserved rest. As I explained in chapter 7 of Secrets of Time, Judah owed God 70 rest years and Jubilees which they had not kept, so God sent them into Babylon for 70 years, as we read in 2 Chronicles 36:20, 21,
20 And those who had escaped from the sword He carried away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia, 21 to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days of its desolation it kept Sabbath until seventy years were complete.
When the time was completed, however, Babylon refused to let them go, so the great Redeemer (i.e., avenger of blood, or kinsman redeemer) took the case to court and then called in the Medes and Persians to enforce the law, allowing Judah to return to the old land to rebuild Jerusalem. God used the Medes and Persians to force compliance.
Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 45:1 that a king named Cyrus would be a “messiah” (or anointed one) “to subdue nations.” In Isaiah 44:28 God says, “It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire’.” All of this is Isaiah’s proof of the sovereignty of God, proving that God can raise up kings who do not even know Christ as we do, and use them to accomplish His purposes in the earth.
In Daniel 5:31 we read,
31 So Darius the Mede received the kingdom at about the age of sixty-two.
Darius, king of Media, then reorganized the kingdom into 120 provinces (Daniel 6:1). This foreshadows the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, because the number 120 is always associated with the Holy Spirit. Darius then set up three governors, the highest of whom was Daniel himself (Daniel 6:2, 3). This prophesies of the rule of the overcomers in the administration following the overthrow of Babylon. Daniel’s elevation as governor was a small type and shadow of what we are about to see today, when the saints are given dominion as per Daniel 7:22, 27.
So also today, we see God raising up China and Russia, the modern Kings of the East, to overthrow the slave-system of the Western banking system of Mystery Babylon. Cyrus will indeed fund the rebuilding of (new) Jerusalem and the (new) temple, which is the body of Christ (Ephesians 2:21, 22).
Does this sound absurd? Isaiah’s prophecy was absurd too—until it happened. Those with faith have confidence that our Redeemer is indeed strong enough to accomplish what He has spoken.
Back in the days of Daniel, Cyrus and Darius did not actually establish the Kingdom, even though Cyrus was said to be a “messiah.” Why? Because they were only the second of four beast systems that had to run their course until the time came for the saints to possess the Kingdom. Their primary function at that time was to be the “bear” of Daniel 7:5 and the “arms of silver” of Daniel 2:32. Hence, they were but types and shadows of a greater fulfillment that now looms before us in 2014.
But there was a secondary prophecy, detailed in Isaiah 44 and 45, which could not be the dominant outworking of the divine plan until all four beasts (plus the Little Horn) had run their course. We are now at that point in history. The overall contract of 2,520 years has now been completed, along with the 1480 years of the Little Horn. Both cycles ended in 2013.
Cyrus and Darius did what was necessary in their own time, but today China and Russia will complete the work on a much greater scale. They are destined not only to overthrow the Western Banking System of fiat money, but are also destined to become Christian Nations and to fund the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Russia has already begun to move in that direction. China has more Christians than any other nation in history and will soon be no longer capable of suppressing Christ. We are on the cusp of monumental changes in world history.
It is in this context that we are holding our prayer campaign called “Overcoming Resistance.” Babylon has refused to let the earth receive its Jubilee, so we are taking them to court to force compliance. God is thus the Redeemer, and we are in agreement with Him and His plan. Hence, we act as His body, taking our orders from the Head.
As we bear witness on earth to the voice of God from heaven, heaven and earth bear witness. The double witness establishes all things in the earth according to the law. When we receive the victory in court, we can then turn the guilty parties over to God’s Federal Marshals—that is, Russia and China—to enforce the decree, bring “turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon,” and give the earth its rest.
I might add, too, that the battleground between East and West is being fought in the Philippines. That seems to be an unlikely and obscure place, but that is because few of us know its history and still fewer understand its prophetic significance. The Philippines is the birthplace of the IRS (two trusts) a century ago when the USA made it a territory after the Spanish-American War in 1898. After WW2, when the Philippines was given its independence, the IRS was moved to Puerto Rico, another territory. (The IRS could not be located in one of the 50 States because it was unconstitutional.)
Today, there is a financial battle centering in the Philippines, where Babylonian tribute was first established in preparation for the Federal Reserve Act and the Income Tax (16th) Amendment.
I will try to give you some Philippine history soon, showing its connection to Israel as far back as the time of Solomon. I have already shared much about its prophetic significance in connection with my recent trips there in 2013.
