Paul Crouch founded TBN forty years ago in 1973. It is the largest Christian television network. Is this perhaps a microcosm of the Church coming out of the wilderness after forty years?
As a representative of the church system, he was also like King Saul, the Pentecostal King who ruled 40 years. Though he was called "Paul," his character has been more like Saul, as news reports in recent years have shown.
Also, actor Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash the same day. Another Paul? He had starred in Fast and Furious, and died in a high speed car crash on his way to a charity event for victims of Typhoon Haiyan. He was forty years old.
For two Pauls to die on the same day, each after forty years, surely indicates something.

According to his biography, Paul Crouch Sr. was born in 1934 to parents who were missionaries in St. Joseph, Mo. He is a graduate of the Central Bible Institute and Seminary in Springfield, Mo., earning a theology degree in 1955.
Is it a coincidence that he was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, and we met there at Tabernacles two months ago?
