We have been working on a new web site for close to a year now, and it is nearly finished. We hope to have it fully established on Monday, August 27. Its address is the same as our old site, except that it is dot-net instead of dot-com.

Both web sites will remain online at the same time for a while, but the latest weblogs will be done on the new site only. We are doing this mainly because we do not yet have all of the old weblogs copied to the new site. There are over 3,000 of these, and three computer programs crashed trying to bring them over in a single step. So we are having to transfer them one at a time. So far, we have only transferred those written in 2012. So if you want to look up old weblogs, you will have to find them on the old site until we finish transferring them.
Once you get used to this new site, you will find that it is easier to navigate and that the search functions are much better. With a site as large as ours, this is an absolute necessity.
Also, I will have more options in doing the weblogs, such as posting pictures and graphics directly in the weblog without having to simply post a link.
