In recent years we have come to the end of some very lengthy time cycles that have their roots in biblical days. Understanding the time in which we live has guided us in our course of action, most importantly in the series of prayer battles and Divine Court cases that have involved us.
When I write about specific prayer campaigns, such as the recent Divine Deliverance Prayer Campaign last week, many of you know enough about it to participate, but not necessarily enough to understand the full context in the big picture. A few people have been part of this for many years and have a fairly good comprehension of our purposes and goals. Most, however, are newer readers or listeners and may be struggling to understand.
For this reason, I often have to step out of the immediate situations and remind you of the overall context in which we find ourselves today. Each prayer campaign has its significance that stands alone, but at the same time, each prayer campaign is like a continuation of all the prayer campaigns of the past. Only by understanding the progression can we truly understand where we are today in the course of Kingdom History.
Daniel understood by the prophecies of Jeremiah that the Babylonian captivity was about to end after 70 years (Dan. 9:2). Daniel understood that Babylon would fall shortly, but also that the captivity of Judah was not actually going to end yet. Why? Because Daniel 2 and 7 made it clear that Babylon was just the first of four major empires that would rule that part of the earth in succession.
In other words, God had sold Judah into the hands of four successive empires until the time came for the Stone Kingdom to be set up as per Dan. 2:35. One might argue that these empires all came to an end when Jesus died on the cross. There is an element of truth in that, but the practical reality is that these kingdoms still rule to this day.
Daniel saw also a "little horn" (7:8) rising up after the fall of the fourth kingdom (Imperial Rome). Because Imperial Rome did not fall until 476 A.D., this "little horn" could not rise until some time after that--and this was centuries after Christ's death and resurrection. It was, in fact, the rise of Religious Rome, known today as the Vatican.
Revelation 13:1-10 speaks further about this "little horn," and verse 6 actually quotes Dan. 7:8. So we know that this beast rising from the sea is actually the "little horn" of Daniel 7:8 and speaks of Religious Rome. The Church became the new oppressor of the people at that time, keeping the people in bondage as a Hagar-Bride of Christ instead of a Sarah-Bride.
But John continues by giving us further revelation that Daniel himself had not foreseen. There would be a second beast to rise up, known as the beast from the earth (Rev. 13:11-18). This is described as an economic beast, and it has been fulfilled in the modern banking system--which is now collapsing.
The beast from the sea was given 1,260 days (years) of power from 529-1789 A.D., after which time the beast from the earth--that terrible money power--rose up to fund the French Revolution in 1789. It eclipsed the power of Religious Rome, overthrew "the firstborn of the Church" (France), and established the new money power in the earth.
We are now nearing the end of that final beast power. There are no more beasts forecasted by either Daniel or John. Hence, we ourselves are living in the time of transition into the Stone Kingdom, as the final extensions of beastly powers come to an end. Hence, in our own way, like Daniel, we are seeing the end of an era and are conducting ourselves in accordance with the time in which we live. Daniel prayed for deliverance from Babylon in Daniel 9 and 10; we ourselves pray for deliverance from Mystery Babylon--the spirit of Babylon that has culminated in the modern secretive, hidden, "mystery" banking system.
Meanwhile, God has been preparing His people (overcomers) to receive the jurisdiction over the earth at the end of the Babylonian mandate. People from all past ages have been called and trained for this time. They have learned to rule and to judge all things by the Spirit during their life time, and I believe they will be raised from the dead to receive jurisdiction when the time of these beast systems end.
This transfer of jurisdiction is prophesied in Dan. 7: 18, where the saints "receive the kingdom and they will safeguard the kingdom unto the eon, even unto the eon of the eons" (C.V.). Dan. 7:22 says also, "adjudication is granted to the saints" and "the kingdom is safeguarded by the saints" (CV).
There is to be a transfer of jurisdiction so that the Kingdom on earth may be adjudicated by the saints of the Most High. They are the caretakers of the Kingdom, called to "safeguard" it. As we approach the critical moment when the nations recognize this jurisdiction, we understand that the overcomers already have obtained this jurisdiction and authority, even as Joshua had obtained authority over Canaan some years before the land was actually conquered.
The main difference is that we conquer by better weaponry through spiritual warfare, for "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal" (2 Cor. 10:4).
The overcomers have had to wait until the Church under Pentecost had run its course, even as David had to await the death of Saul before he could actually claim that throne to which he had been anointed at the age of eight. Just as Saul reigned 40 years, so also the Pentecost Church was given jurisdiction for 40 Jubilee cycles (33-1993 A.D.). Only then could the overcomer company ("David") begin to receive the authority over the nations without usurping what God had given to the "beasts" and to the Church.
For this reason, our prayer campaigns began in November of 1993. As representatives of the overcomers, we received the first installment of authority in 1993, patterned after King David's first 7-1/2 years as king over a single tribe (2 Sam. 5:5). It was enough to begin the Jubilee Prayer Campaign.
The "Saul" company (Church) had opportunity to deal with the beast systems for 40 Jubilees, but they failed to set the people free or to bring righteousness into the earth. In essence, they failed to fulfill the Abrahamic mandate to be a blessing to all families of the earth. So on Nov. 29, 1993 we took the matter before the Divine Court and asked that this Mandate of Heaven be given to the overcomers--"the saints of the Most High" mentioned in Daniel 7.
We won our case in the Divine Court, but were challenged at every turn by the Church, which refused to give up power. The result was a long 13-year prayer campaign, following the pattern of the Battle of Jericho. The Israelites walked around the city 13 times blowing the "Jubilee" (yobel--see Joshua 6:4); we proclaimed the Jubilee for 13 years until October of 2006, when the battle ended at Babylon, New York.
We then understood that the modern banking system, that final beast system, would begin to crumble within the following year. And, indeed, it did, for the mortgage crisis began in the summer of 2007, followed by the banking crisis, the bailouts, and now the debt crisis. We have continued to work toward the overthrow of Babylon and to prepare our hearts to exercise jurisdiction in the Age of Tabernacles that lies ahead.
In fact, our warfare has been the exercise of spiritual authority already given to us.
We believe that the year 2012 will prove to be the most critical year of all in this time of spiritual warfare. As the final beasts fall, God will pour out His Spirit upon the overcomers to ensure that the solutions to the global problems reside in the overcomers.
