Last week I wrote how plants are able to pick up signals and emotions from their "owners" without regard to distance. Once the connection is made between them, plants react at the precise moments that their owners come under stress or make important decisions. This is all measurable by attaching the plant to a lie-detector machine.
The signals between them were traveling back and forth instantaneously--not like some overseas telephone calls or satellite news which experience a short delay in time. Instead, the plants utilize the realm of spirit, which David Wilcox calls The Source Field, to eliminate the delays of time and space.
The Russian scientist, Nicolai Kozyrev, understood this as well, and he proved it by a very special telescope that he built. Kozyrev had been condemned by Stalin to a concentration camp, but his fertile mind used that time to ponder the idea of a changing flow of time. Once he was set free in the 1950's, he began experiments to prove his theories. It triggered a virtual scientific revolution, with over 10,000 papers being published by 1996, more than half being written by other Russian scientists.
"Since the flow of time can ultimately affect gravity, weather, electromagnetic devices and the human mind, any nation that knew how to control it would have a clear tactical advantage. Thus, the Soviet government kept much of this research classified for 'national security.' It wasn't until after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 that more of this groundbreaking information became available to the general public--ultimately thanks to the Internet--but most of the scientific community is still unaware of it." [Wilcock, The Source Field Investigations, p. 248]
Kozyrev experimented in astronomy as well.
"Beginning in the mid-1950's, Kozyrev designed a special type of telescope that had one of his time flow detectors located right at the focal point. As strange as this sounds, he could put a metal plate in front of the telescope--blocking out all visible light and all electromagnetic radiation--but the time-flow detector still picked up measurable signal when he aimed the telescope at a star, or any other celestial object. This could not be possible unless he was detecting an energy that was not electromagnetic--and had nothing to do with visible light.
"The light from a star can take many millions of years to reach us--and in the meantime, the real position of the star has actually drifted somewhere else. So when we look at the night sky, we are looking at the past. Kozyrev found that if he aimed his telescope at the true position of a star... the signal was much stronger. This suggested that the waves within the Source Field traveled much, much faster than the speed of light--effectively instantaneously....
"Indeed, the strongest energy from a star or celestial object came from its true position--defeating Einstein's belief that no energy field could ever travel faster than the speed of light. A star's energy then got steadily weaker when you moved toward its position in the past, and weaker when you moved the telescope toward its position in the future." [p. 258, 259]
Kozyrev was utilizing the realm of the spirit. It does not matter what science would call it. Attaching secular terms to a biblical concept does not change it in any way. It only changes the manner in which we understand or relate to biblical truth. God's presence is still very near, even if men think He is far away in heaven. His voice (word) is closer than we think, even if our ears are too dull to hear Him. Listen to what Moses says about this in Deut. 30:11-14,
11 For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. 12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, "Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?" 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?" 14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.
In other words, God is not so distant as it would seem when we look up at the stars in heaven. By the spirit, both the energy of life and the word of God come to us instantaneously. The word is picked up in our hearts and come forth from our mouths.
Furthermore, because time is overcome, bent, or even pulled back in this spiritual dimension, some amazing things can be done through spiritual activity, including prayer. For example, back in May of 1985, while I was in the Net of Prayer, divine revelation was given that a large hurricane was going to kill 40,000 people on May 25. It was to strike somewhere here in America, probably along the Gulf of Mexico. There was no time to call for a prayer campaign before the event, because the revelation came so late, and we did not yet have an Internet. The postal service was efficient, but not like the Internet.
So after inquiring of the Lord what to do about this, we were led to hold a prayer campaign on June 5 and make it retroactive to May 25. Unfortunately, because we were still functioning in the final years of the reign of prophetic "Saul," the representatives of the Davidic company did not have the full authority to deal with this hurricane. It could not be stopped, but only deflected.
The result was that a major cyclone hit Bangla-desh on May 25, killing 40,000 people. America was spared, but others took the hit. The spiritual forces creating the cyclone were diverted half way around the world, overcoming space (distance), and our prayers on June 5 overcame time. We learned many things from this experience, including the truth that in spiritual matters, we were not bound by the normal restrictions of time and space. When we "move by the spirit," we are functioning in a different world that scientists call The Source Field and other terms.
It is tragic that the church in general did not comprehend what was happening. Ever since its coronation in Acts 2, the Church under Pentecost--prophetic King Saul--had the authority to deal with these problems. However, their leadership was too focused on other things to deal with the root causes of the cyclone. As representatives of the overcomers, the Net of Prayer was playing the role of David. Recall that David did much of Saul's job, even while Saul was harassing him and trying to kill him.
It was not until 1993 that the reign of Saul ended, and we began to transition into the reign of prophetic David. Only then did the "David" company have the authority necessary to bring about changes that would overthrow the Babylonian system of bondage and prepare the way for the coming Age of Tabernacles. Yet back in 1985 the church in general remained in conflict with the overcomers and refused to heed the call to prayer, intercession, and spiritual warfare that was the calling of the Church.
Even so, as we were led by the Spirit, we learned many foundational lessons how to walk in the spiritual realm. Even as David was trained in the wilderness with King Saul as his primary teacher, so also did we learn these basic principles outside of the normal church culture. And today, in reading what scientists like Kozyrev have discovered about the "Source Field," we can see that they have proven the existence of spirit. Jerry Ward says in A (Quantum) Leap of Faith, "Quantum physics has made bedfellows of science and spirituality." (Jerry's brother, Steve, is a friend of mine.)
