I believe it is quite probable that the Iraqi dinar will revalue at a time connected to our prayer battles back in 2001. The first three battles occurred:
Feb. 26-28
March 9
March 22-24
At the moment, we should watch today through Monday. I wrote earlier that Feb. 28, 2001 was the date of the Seattle earthquake which cracked the Capitol dome in Olympia. Because Washington state is the spiritual headquarters of Washington D.C., this event signified some kind of "cracking" in the power structure in Washington D.C.
The ten-year echo is what we call the Hezekiah Factor, and this is why this year we are recalling the events of 2001.
In the bigger picture, there were more prayer battles, particularly in the first half of July 2001 and then again in the first week of November. But those dates are too far away to comment on them.
The interesting thing about February 28 goes back 20 years to 1991. This was the end of the Gulf War, which occurred on the feast of Purim (Feb. 27 and 28, 1991). Purim was established in the book of Esther, featuring a conflict between Mordecai and Haman. Haman, the Agagite, was descended from King Agag of Amalek, and he is the enemy of the book of Esther, where the feast of Purim was established. Amalek, in turn, was the nation that tried to steal the wealth of Egypt from the Israelites as they came out of Egypt in Exodus 17.
God put a curse upon Amalek for this in Ex. 17:14-16. This put Amalek on Cursed Time, a period of 414 years, and when their grace period had expired, God raised up King Saul to bring divine judgment upon Amalek (1 Sam. 15:2, 3). Saul, of course, spared King Agag of Amalek. As the king, Agag was the focal point of the divine curse, for he represented the nation. Saul's failure to act the part of God's judge was largely due to his desire to appropriate the wealth of Amalek for himself (vs. 15). In other words, it was a problem of the love of money.
Samuel did kill King Agag, but some of his descendants had escaped to Babylon and Persia. So many years later, one of his descendants, Haman the Agagite, decided to exact his revenge. The story is told in the book of Esther.
When the Gulf War ended on Purim in 1991, it set the stage for Part 2 when President Bush called for the invasion of Iraq to remove Saddam Hussein. Saddam thought of himself as the reincarnation of Nebuchadnezzar, but he was also a type of Haman. As Nebuchadnezzar, his "image" (statue) was toppled on April 9, 2003, but as Haman, he was captured on December 13, 2003.
December 13 is 12/13 on our calendar, but on the Hebrew calendar, 12/13 is Purim (Esther 9:17). He was found in the so-called "spider hole" with a pallet of money. It really is about money. News reports also stated that he was found with a Mars candy bar wrapper. Why they reported that piece of trivia is beyond me, but it does connect Saddam with Haman in the book of Esther. Esther's uncle Mordecai was the one that Haman hated and wanted to hang on 50-cubit high gallows. Mordecaimeans "worshipper of Mars." The candy bar wrapper was God's way of leaving His fingerprints on the scene, so that we would know Saddam's connection with Haman.
So Gulf War I left off at Purim (2/28/91), and it finally came to an end with the capture of Saddam on a a day that was a type of Purim (12/13/03).
With that background in mind, we can focus on the prophetic significance of February 28.
Feb. 28, 1991 the Gulf War ended.
Feb. 28, 2001 the earthquake cracks the Olympia dome
Feb. 28, 2011 is next Monday.
These ten-year cycles are based upon the Hezekiah Factor, where it is as if God turns the clock back "ten degrees" (prophetically either ten days or ten years). See 2 Kings 20:11. (Is that a veiled reference to the year 2011?)
"And Isaiah the prophet cried to the Lord, and He brought the shadow on the stairway["steps" on the sun dial] back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz."
This manipulation of Time shows that God is the Lord of Time. This principle comes out in Luke 6:5, where Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, which has to do with Time.
If you recall from previous studies, the 120th Jubilee from Adam occurred on October 13, 1986. This Jubilee occurred during the reign of the Church under Pentecost, so it was the responsibility of the Church to declare the Jubilee. They did not do so, of course, because they had no such revelation or understanding. So the date came and went unnoticed.
In 1991, however, God began to give us a clear revelation of Timing, and by late 1994 we were given the revelation of the Hezekiah Factor. This gave us the opportunity to declare the Jubilee ten years "late" in 1996, praying that God would turn back the clock 10 years according to the Hezekiah Factor, so that our declaration would be "on time."
Since the "Saul" Church had completed its reign in 1993 after ruling for 40 Jubilees, there was a new sheriff in town. The "David" company was now given the authority to make this Jubilee declaration in 1996 on the Day of Atonement (9/23/96). Therefore, even though the Church had failed to declare the Jubilee in 1986, God found a way to manipulate Time in order to bring the present Age to a close without losing the opportunity to set the earth free by the declaration of the Jubilee.
We are living in the Jubilee cycle (1986-2035) that transitions us from the Pentecostal Age to the Age of Tabernacles. The Jubilee was declared in 1996, and ten years later we completed our Jubilee Prayer Campaign (Oct. 7, 2006) at Babylon, NY, where we prophesied: "It is done" (Rev. 16:17).
We knew then that the world's economic system was going to collapse shortly. We also understood that God would protect His people, because the purpose of the collapse was to set us free--not to destroy us. Iraq is a major type of Babylon in the world today. Read my blogs in the "Iraq" and "Iraqi Dinar" listings to get a feel for this. We need to keep up with the news on Iraq in order to understand the flow of Bible prophecy.
This brings us back to our particular focus today, which is February 26-28. I have already given background in my "Almond Chronicles" so that you would know ahead of time why we ought to watch Feb. 21-22 and also 26-28. There is a possibility that the dinar could revalue at this time. If not, we might be looking at the next date (3/9) or the date of the third battle (March 22-24).
If it does not revalue in March, then perhaps we ought to look to the 10-year anniversaries of the next prayer battles, which would occur in July or November, but such far-out times do not seem feasible at present.
One final note: I believe that God is making provision for His people for some rough times ahead as Babylon collapses completely. I know that much of this provision will be wasted or misspent, for that is the result of human nature and lack of vision and purpose. Many will use this money to retire on the beach; others (like me) will use it to "get to work" building the Kingdom. There is nothing wrong with retirement, if you are of that age and have no unfinished purpose in life. My only warning is that you not use the wealth to build another golden calf, which is what Israel did with the wealth that they carried out of Egypt.
