I am starting to lose hope.
I have been waiting by the telephone for the call from Adam Smith, editor of the Nobel Prize website, telling me that I have won the Nobel Prize for Biblical Literature.
I mean, I really think I must have won. I have written more than anyone this past year. I know I blew everyone out of the water. Surely I must have won.
Furthermore, I have plans to write a lot more. Remember when Obama won the prize for what he intended to do during his presidency? Well, my intentions are to exceed his efforts--in my own field, of course.
Meanwhile, I'm still waiting by the phone. It's a bit lonely here, but I have a good wife who will comfort me in case the prizes are rigged and I lose.
