The Israelis snubbed Vice President Biden on his recent trip to Israel, by announcing 1600 new Jewish housing units in East Jerusalem, and then followed up by giving Biden some broken glass as a "gift."

Now the favor has been returned, as Netanyahu visited the White House. President Obama walked out on the Israeli delegation and left them cooling their heels in the White House, saying, "let me know if you change your mind."

In further response later, Netanyahu announced another 20 Jewish housing units to be built in East Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the British expelled an Israeli diplomat after the Israelis stole people's identities and then falsified passports in order to carry out a political assassination in Dubai in January.

We are seeing the fulfillment of Rev. 17:16-18,

(16) And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will HATE the harlot (false Israel bride) and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. (17) For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be fulfilled. (18) And the woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.

The beast is not a godly character, nor is the harlot, but God's pupose is to turn the beast against the harlot at some point. Perhaps the beast is simply getting tired of being ridden by the harlot and told what to do and when to do it.

It appears that we are nearing the climax of the story. We are now 62 years since 1948, the age of Darius the Mede when he took Babylon in Dan. 5:31. I believe that this is a hidden prophecy of the time when those controlling Babylon in our day are overthrown.
