As Thea interpreted the Star Vision, the location of each point was a "place of refuge" in troubled times that lay ahead. Just how literal or symbolic this might be is yet to be seen. But she wrote, "He also showed me that the places outside that star area would be devastated."
Her focus, however, was to give a "trumpet call" to the people in America to turn back to God, for He is our only true Refuge.
"That is Number One. Our lives must be turned to Him. Then He will show us where to go. Some may have to be outside that star area for a while to be a guidepost to others. But eventually He will bring all those He wants to save within that star area. He will protect them there, and He will live in their midst."
It is not likely that the geologic shape of this nation will become a perfect six-pointed star. I suspect that this is far more symbolic than literal. One thing we do know for sure is that we must all come within the jurisdiction and protection of the Kingdom of God, and that such protection does not depend upon location per se.
"One of the things the Lord told me in 1978 in Notre Dame, was to tell the people to come out of all Babylonian systems, meaning the economic systems, the political systems, and the religious systems. And by that we understand that we are not to be under them, that is, that we are not to be controlled by them. . . ."
"The points of the star, the six outward points, represent gates. There are six inward points also, making actually twelve points, six being the number of man, twelve being the number for the apostles of the foundation, the Government of God.
"And in the middle of the star area, not really physically in the middle, but in the area of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, where those four states meet, there is a radius of about 100 miles that the Lord calls His "heart." He said there He would dwell in the midst of us. Of course, that doesn't mean just physically He would be there; He will be everywhere. God is everywhere. But He is calling a people together in the areas shown by the corners of this star and in the heart area of this star, to do a specific work, to come into a new priesthood, to come into a new Spirit age. We are not to go anymore by the old Aaronic, or Levitical priesthood or the "church age' priesthood, but to come into the Melchisidec Order of priesthood, which is really different."
Thea recognized that, while this Star Vision may have some physical application, the broader meaning was spiritual. The physical is an allegory, a "type" of the spiritual. I remember in the early 1990's, that I spoke at a conference with Thea in southern Missouri. After the conference, our entourage was led to drive to Mount Nebo overlooking Russellville, Arkansas. Before driving up the mountain, we stopped for lunch at a restaurant. There on the wall was a map of the 4-corners area showing Mount Nebo at the center of three circles. If I recall, the circles were drawn 100 miles, 150 miles, and 200 miles around Mount Nebo.
Thea had seen this in her vision, and though she only wrote of "a radius of about 100 miles" (above), she had actually seen three concentric circles, exactly as portrayed on the wall of the restaurant in Russellville. It was an interesting confirmation. We then drove to the top of Mount Nebo and prayed that the Lord's will would be done in that place.
The original biblical Mount Nebo was the place where Jeremiah the prophet hid the Ark of the Covenant at the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians. We read in 2 Maccabees 2:4-8,
(4) It was also contained in the same writing, that the prophet [Jeremiah], being warned of God, commanded the tabernacle and the ark to go with him, as he went forth into the mountain where Moses climbed up and saw the heritage of God [Mount Nebo. See Deut. 34:1]. (5) And when Jeremy came thither, he found an hollow cave, wherein he laid the tabernacle, and the ark, and the altar of incense, and so stopped the door.
(6) And some of those that followed him came to mark the way, but they could not find it. (7) Which when Jeremy perceived, he blamed them, saying, "As for that place, it shall be unknown until the time that God gather His people again together and receive them unto mercy. (8) Then shall the Lord show them these things, and the glory of the Lord shall appear, and the cloud also, as it was showed under Moses and as when Solomon desired that the place might be honourably sanctified.
There are some who believe that Jeremiah took the Ark with him to Ireland some years afterward, along with the King's daughters (his nieces), as he was their guardian (Jer. 41:10; 43:6) after the death of King Zedekiah of Jerusalem. There are varying traditions, but some say that Jeremiah set sail and went West to unknown lands. The possibility exists, then, that Jeremiah found the mouth of the Mississippi River, and that he turned left at the Arkansas River, and sailed as far as was navigable--now called Russellville, AR. Hence, the name Mount Nebo in Arkansas.
Whatever the truth is, there is little doubt that the Mount Nebo in Arkansas forms part of the allegorical type of the seat of the Kingdom and the Ark of the Covenant in Thea's visions. So she writes,
"And so, this star area and this message is a challenge to you to come up higher, to move into this realm, and to move away from that which is worldly, that which is false, that which is destructive, that which is darkness, for you are a child of the Light, and you must become light as He is Light.
"Above that star, God also showed me a crown. And the crown went across the United States touching into Canada. It was made up of seven triangles, including the seventh triangle which was part of the star area in Winnipeg. These triangles went from the west coast to the east coast including parts of Canada. He spoke to me and said, 'This is My crown; this is My dominion,' whereas the star area was His heart and throne. Both of them go together, both of them symbolizing a spiritual, soulish and physical reality that we are all coming into."
Thus, the USA represents "His heart and throne," whereas The Dominion of Canada was said to be "My dominion." The middle point of the star was also the middle triangle of the crown whose points extended north into Canada from the border (49th parallel). That middle triangle united the two nations as one under Christ.
In 1994 three of us drove from Seattle to Winnipeg, where I received the revelation of the Hezekiah Factor. David Adamiak's name means "David, son of Adam (man)". My son was Ryan, "King." My own name, Stephen, means "crown." Together, we were going to Winnipeg to "Crown King David, Son of Man." Thus, in our first meeting, the question arose as to why Americans did not appreciate the British Monarchy; and this led to our prayer to reunite the two nations under one Head, Jesus Christ (Hosea 1:11).
Thea ends her account with this conclusion:
"It has a physical and a spiritual message--that there are places of refuge, places and areas where people will come where they will be taught these new teachings or deeper teachings. They're not new, they're really old. . .
"I remember that I saw much destruction. I saw cataclysmic destruction of many areas of the United States, and of many people. I saw in a vision people coming with their skin just hanging from their bones and their clothing gone, and no hair on their heads. They looked absolutely horrendous. But when they came into areas of the star. . . these awful looking creatures (that's all I can call them) were totally restored and renewed."
Isaiah 1:4-6. Selah.
