It seems that the Skull and Bones society at Yale is being sued by the descendents of Geronimo, the great Indian warrior, who died of pneumonia in 1909 while in captivity at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.
It is alleged that in 1918 Geronimo's "skull and bones" were dug up from his grave and sent to the Skull and Bones society at Yale. Grave-robbing is a crime, and Harlyn Geronimo now wants them back.
"According to lore, members of Skull and Bones — including former President George W. Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush — dug up his grave when a group of Army volunteers from Yale were stationed at the fort during World War I, taking his skull and some of his bones."
What would that club ever do without the Skull and Bones?
Perhaps they could settle for a Chicken Legbone Club.
