From 2000-2007 we were led specifically to pour out the seven vials in various places around America, usually about the last day of the feast of Tabernacles each year. We did this largely according to the pattern established in ancient times, where they poured out a drink offering for seven days during the feast (Num. 29:16, 19, 22, etc.). This is the background prophecy of the seven vials at Tabernacles in the seventh trumpet (month) of the seventh seal (year).
They also poured out a drink offering of water at the same time. It was customary to send a priest to the pool of Siloam to get water in a silver pitcher to pour out on each of the seven days of Tabernacles.
The wine was poured out in a pipe on the left side of the altar, while the water was poured out in a pipe on its right side. The left side signifies judgment; the right side portrays mercy. And so, it was our practice to stand with arms outstretched and pour out the water and wine at the same time. We have understood from this that these vials prophesied two things: judgment (wine) upon the world system and the counterfeit kingdom, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (water) upon all men that would manifest the true Kingdom of God.
The feast of Tabernacles occurs in the seventh month, known as Ethanim. The name means "flowing rivers" and is prophetic of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus kept Tabernacles in the 7th chapter of John, we read in verses 37-39,
" (37) Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. (38) He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, "From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water".' (39) But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."
Jesus spoke these words on the last great day of the feast, which was the 8th day of Tabernacles. No water was poured out on this day. It was time to come to Jesus and watch the "rivers of living water" come from one's innermost being. This was partially fulfilled later on the day of Pentecost, but Jesus spoke these words on the 8th day of Tabernacles--not on Pentecost. Thus, it is prophetic of that day which has yet to be fulfilled historically.
Jesus was actually referring to the prophecy in Isaiah 12:2, 3, which says,
" (2) Behold, God is my salvation [Heb. yeshua], I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation [yeshua]. (3) Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation [yeshua]."
Jesus' Hebrew name, Yeshua [or Joshua] literally means "Salvation." Thus, Isaiah 12 is a prophecy of Jesus Himself, and it instructs us to go to Yeshua-Jesus and draw water from Him. Jesus knew that His name was prophesied in the Old Testament in this way, for He said to the Samaritan woman in John 4:22, "Salvation [Yeshua] is of the Judeans."
This is not to be interpreted to mean that one can only obtain salvation by worshipping Jews, as is so often implied by modern teachers. Jesus was simply telling her that He Himself was of the Judeans, and that He Himself was the means of Salvation for all people.
So getting back to our main point, now that the seventh vial has been poured out (Oct. 7, 2006), we are now situated in the beginning of the 8th day of Tabernacles, prophetically speaking. Instead of a 7-day feast of Tabernacles, the seven vials have manifested a 7-YEAR feast of Tabernacles, a day for a year. And the year 2007-9 is the 8th day in that sense.
I would like to think that we could see a significant fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles this year, accompanied by an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the 8th day of Tabernacles, but I cannot make that prediction. The extent of the revelation given to me (as of today) is that we are seeing a long-term pattern of Tabernacles that places us now in the "8th day." In some way we will be given the commission and empowerment to bring this Gospel of the Kingdom into the world in a way not seen before.
I do not expect it to begin before Tabernacles this year (Sept. 27-Oct. 4). The question is whether or not it will be accompanied by the actual historical fulfillment of Tabernacles, complete with the fullness of the Holy Spirit being poured out. As of now, I have no indication that this will happen. I know, of course, that God does not tell me everything, and certainly the closer we come to the time of fulfillment, the more details are revealed. So it might be the case that this event is simply not yet revealed.
Even so, I cannot reveal what I do not know, nor can I make it happen by wishful thinking. I do understand, however, that we are entering an enhanced time in which the true Gospel of the Kingdom will be spread throughout the earth. This was signified by the 7 vials of water in the past 7 years. At the same time, the 7 vials of wine signify judgment that is to come.
Back in 1993, when we began the Jubilee Prayer Campaign, we saw it as a Jericho march and a seven-year Jubilee. Hence, the 7 years to 2000 signified the 7 days in which Israel marched around Jericho blowing trumpets (yobel, "Jubilee"). Then on the last day, they marched around the city 7 times in a single day.
The battle of Jericho produced no results until they had completed their 13th trip around the walls of the city. Then came the shout, and the walls fell.
We came to see quite early that we would not see results of our prayer campaign until the year 2000. We speculated on the nature of the final year and assumed that we would see 7 prayer campaigns in the 7th year to fit the 7 trips around Jericho on the 7th day. But instead, God revealed that the 7th year would be extended for 7 years, during which time we were to pour out the vials once each year. That brought us to the end on October 2006.
It seems, then, that the world is now poised to see the results of all of this. Last October marked 13 years (13 trips around Jericho). We are now in the 14th year, which number signifies "release." One never knows precisely HOW prophecy will be fulfilled, because God reveals things in a progressive manner, and the last piece of the puzzle is put into place when we see the fulfillment.
Nonetheless, I can share what I do know, making it clear that I do not know everything. Hopefully, this series has given you enough background to know how we got here to the year 2007. When you see the progression of revelation and of events leading to 2007, it will give you some understanding, so that you will be able to be watchful with me. I do consult with many others to get a broader picture of revelation that they are receiving, but I am also constrained by the fact that I do not know everyone else to whom revelation is given.
Even so, of one thing I am absolutely confident. The success of the Kingdom is guaranteed. Conversely, the failure of the counterfeits and all man-made kingdoms is also guaranteed. It seems to me that the counterfeits will crash like the city of Jericho, and the Kingdom of God will succeed at about the same time. We are passing a major milestone in 2007, and there seem to be no more Jericho patterns to fulfill before we begin to see results. But with God running the show, one can never be sure.
