We have watched the scene in the Persian Gulf lately, where three groups are being gathered. Take note, however, that the Eisenhower Strike Group is reported to be in Naples, Italy on October 23, so this group is not yet in the Persian Gulf. The link below mentions this correction at the end of its article.
To these three strike groups are being added a fourth groups now. The Headline is: "US naval war games off the Iranian coastline: A provocation which could lead to War?" by Michel Chossudovsky. Read about it here:

It is being reported that Iran considers this a provocation for war. It's hard to think of it as anything else, of course, since, if the roles were reversed, America would certainly take it to be a war provocation.
Each time a further buildup of troops or ships takes place, the stakes get higher and the situation becomes more dangerous.
It makes me wonder if perhaps the Nov. 8 watch date may involve a war with Iran. Recall that Nov. 8 is Chesvan 17, the date of the beginning of Noah's flood. But keep in mind also that Noah and sons went into the ark a week earlier (Gen. 7:4 and 10). So perhaps we should also be watching Nov. 1 as well.
November 1 is "All Saints Day." In ancient times this was a pagan holiday celebrating the "saints" who dared to rebel against God in the days of Noah. The day was set aside to honor them as heroes of the rebellion. The Church later took over the holiday and substituted their own saints. Hence, we have this strange dual-holiday system of Halloween and All Saints Day.
Halloween celebrates the rebellious ones in Noah's day, as they were said to return from the dead to walk among the living that night, and to keep them appeased, one had to set out some food for them. Otherwise, they would play tricks on you. It is the origin of "Trick or Treat."
The point is this: November 1st this year marks the day when Noah entered the ark, and November 8 marks the day that the rains began. Since 2006 is the Year of Noah, we should watch these dates to see if perhaps some important events could occur. Right now, with the military buildup near Iran, we could possibly see the spark of another Persian Gulf War as early as Nov. 1 or 8.
Caution: It does not seem feasible to me that America would actually be silly enough to pick a fight with Iran while we are still bogged down in Afghanistan and Iraq. From a military viewpoint, fighting on three fronts is not the wisest of strategies. But then, I am not in the military, nor am I privy to the reasons and motives that they may discuss privately. I just say this to make the point that starting another war so soon would not make much military or political sense to me. So I find it a bit difficult that anyone in their right mind would actually do this. On the other hand, it's hard to argue with this huge military buildup.
