Our pocket size book, The Sons of God, has been published in the Urdu language, but I did not know the circumstances until today. As you probably know, the idea that God has a Son (and even a multitude of sons) is very offensive to Muslims, who see this as blasphemy. For this reason, Fiaz had some difficulty in getting a printshop to print copies of this book.
He finally found a place that was willing to do the printing, because, as he explained to them, this is well-known teaching in Christian circles. It is not written for the benefit of the Muslim printers but for Christians.
They had to agree, but even then, the book had to be printed at 2 a.m. when everyone else was asleep. Fiaz kept watch at the door in case someone might walk by and hear the presses running. If anyone came near, he would tell them to shut down the presses for a moment.
Now he is teaching directly from the book so that others may have a deeper understanding of this dangerous teaching about the sons of God.
Fiaz also wrote me an email as follows:
Dear in Christ,
Faith Theological Seminary is a well-known theological institution in Pakistan. This institute has been working in Pakistan for the last hundred years. They also have one research journal named Kalam-a-Haq. This journal is very famous among Pakistani readers, even people wait for it very passionately.
Great news is for us they add our number book first five numbers in their dec 2022 journal. That is a great privilege for us.
Thanks a lot for allowing me to translate your books in Urdu.
God bless you and your ministry.
In Jesus,
Fiaz
Here are pictures of this Presbyterian journal, where they published the first five numbers in our Biblical Meaning of Numbers. If you look closely, you can read the aleph, beth, gimel, dalet, and hey at the beginning of each section.
This is generating a greater audience and adding to our growing reputation and influence in the entire church in Pakistan. No doubt this will create greater interest in our other books as well.
