As the Ukrainian army gets more desperate, it has been using cluster bombs on civilians in towns and cities. I have seen other reports of this by Patrick Lancaster, who is a frontline journalist. He has recorded the remnants of cluster bombs on video and has interviewed some of the civilians that are directly affected by this. Here are examples:

There is positively no military reason or advantage in such attacks on civilians, other than to create fear and to pressure Russia in some way.
This is, of course, a war crime.
