We have been praying for the restoration of Manasseh from November 23-29.
https://old.godskingdom.org/blog/2021/11/the-restoration-of-manasseh
We should extend this prayer one more day till November 30, as this correlates with the past patterns that we have seen over the years. Tomorrow is a day correlating with the anointing of David which occurred long before he was actually crowned king. It is a spiritual event that will eventually emerge into the earth as the Kingdom of God becomes visible to all.
Secondly, our Heavenly Father has pointed out the sin of Laban in his treachery toward Jacob in Genesis 29-31. We are being led to pray for Laban—not simply on his account but also on behalf of the church. The church as a whole has adopted the spirit of Laban and has followed his pattern of treachery toward the overcomers. Hence, we need to deal with that problem so that there is no hindrance when the Holy Spirit is poured out in the world in preparation for the Kingdom.
Laban lacked integrity, which caused him to delay Jacob’s return. This had serious prophetic implications, because on an earthly level it delayed the fulfillment of the feast days. As I explained in chapter 4 of The Laws of the Second Coming, Jacob’s journey to Laban marked specific events that set the pattern for the Spring feasts. His return journey marked specific events that set the pattern for the Autumn feasts, culminating with Tabernacles.
When Laban worked to delay Jacob’s journey home, he essentially opposed the fulfillment of the Autumn feasts. Of course, we know that all things work together for good and that our sovereign God allowed Laban to postpone the feasts to the appointed time. Nonetheless, Laban was the opposition raised up to cause this delay. This opposition to the Autumn feasts established a precedent and a pattern which the church has followed by rejecting the law of Jubilee and by forgetting the feast of Tabernacles.
Laban also set Leah ahead of Rachel when he deceptively gave Leah to Jacob instead of Rachel. Leah and Rachel are prophetic types and shadows of two brides of Christ, much the same as what we see with Abraham’s two wives, Hagar and Sarah. The two stories must be overlaid upon each other in order to get a more complete picture. Hagar and Sarah represent the two covenants and the two cities (Galatians 4), and many believers today have advocated Hagar—the earthly Jerusalem—and her children as the heirs of the kingdom.
Likewise, Leah and Rachel add another detail to the same story. “Leah’s eyes were weak” (Genesis 29:17). Jasher says that she was cross-eyed. Hence, Paul tells us that the non-overcomers are afflicted with blindness (Romans 11:7 KJV). He later modifies this by telling us that “blindness in part is happened to Israel” (Romans 11:25 KJV). Those who are partially blind are those who are of the Leah company.
Leah had a legal marriage relationship with Jacob, but Rachel had a love relationship with him. This suggests that Leah’s relationship was limited to the Old Covenant, but that Rachel had a New Covenant marriage relationship. That is how they overlay with Hagar and Sarah.
Finally, when Jacob was returning to Canaan, Laban pursued them and caught up with them. The two then made a covenant (Genesis 31:44) of separation to keep them from fighting each other. It was called by three names, but it is best known as Mizpah, “watchtower.” If they had been in unity, it would have been a covenant of peace, but as it stood, it was more like an uneasy truce.
So we find later that Saul persecuted David, and the church later committed the same sin in persecuting the overcomers. This is the main manifestation of Old Covenant thinking as well as blindness in part.
So we are called today to intercede on behalf of the blind church for its Old Covenant mindset, for its persecution of the overcomers, and for its support of Hagar-Jerusalem in the conflict with Sarah—the New Jerusalem. The main precedent for this day of prayer is from November 29, 2000, as this was when the old Jerusalem was overthrown. The New Jerusalem was declared to be the capital of the Kingdom the next day, November 30, 2000.
Prayer of Forgiveness for Laban
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace and mercy in the name of Jesus and covered by His blood.
We bring Laban before You this day, asking that you grant Him forgiveness and mercy for his sin against You and against Jacob. We ourselves forgive him for his deception, his lack of integrity, and for delaying the marriage, for promoting the Leah company as the true Bride, for delaying the return of Jacob as Israel, and for breaking his covenant of peace with Jacob at Mizpah.
Even so, Father, forgive also the church, which has followed the path of Laban in its lack of integrity, its promotion of the bride that is afflicted with blindness in part, for its refusal to acknowledge the Jubilee and the feast of Tabernacles, and for violating its covenant of peace by persecuting the overcomers.
Father, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your ability to work all things together for good. We ask that you would turn us, that we may be turned, and save us that we may be saved. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon us, that we may complete the work You have called us to do in building Your Kingdom.
Thank-you, heavenly Father, for hearing our prayer.
