Sitareh’s revelation and prophetic work on September 20-22, 2002 inserted a Jordan crossing into the overall narrative. Though we did not know it at the time, this was to be followed by a national circumcision, based on Joshua 5:3-9,
3 So Joshua made himself flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth [“hill of the foreskins”]…. 5 For all the people who came out were circumcised, but all the people who were born in the wilderness along the way as they came out of Egypt had not been circumcised…. 9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So the name of that place is called Gilgal [“a circle, wheel, rolling”] to this day.
Even as the Israelites born in the wilderness had been uncircumcised physically, so also the church in its own wilderness has been uncircumcised in their hearts. Each, in their own way signify that those generations had failed to fulfill the Abrahamic covenant to be a blessing to all the families of the earth. The Wycliffe Bible Commentary says this:
“The reproach of Egypt does not refer to the reproach or taunts heaped upon Israel by the Egyptians, nor to the misery of the Israelites endured as slaves in Egypt, but to the suspension of the Abrahamic covenant agreement of which circumcision was the sign… Even though delivered from the land of Egypt and united with God by covenant at Sinai, nevertheless the Israelites abrogated the Abrahamic covenant (conditional upon faith in Jehovah) and the Mosaic covenant (conditional upon obedience to Jehovah) by their desire for the idolatrous Egyptian worship… and pleasures of Egypt.”
While the commentator understood correctly that the Abrahamic covenant had been suspended, he did not fully understand the nature and purpose of the Abrahamic covenant. So he attributes this suspension to Israel’s sin and desire for “Egyptian worship… and pleasures of Egypt.” This explanation, though accurate in itself, misses the main point.
The Abrahamic covenant was about God choosing certain ones to bring God’s blessings to all nations, by causing them to repent and turn to Christ (Acts 3:25, 26). Israel had failed to do this under the Old Covenant at Sinai; the church failed to do this as well during its own wilderness journey between the two comings of Christ. Though the church evangelized other nations to some extent, after a few centuries they often did so through conquest and then subdued the people through fear of hellfire.
Likewise, they increasingly brought converts into subjection to the church, rather than to Christ Himself, making church membership the main test of faith. Membership was denied to those who deviated from the established creeds, especially the doctrine of the trinity. When the church began to reject the long-standing belief in universal reconciliation in the year 400 A.D., the Abrahamic covenant was finally suspended.
Believers who had left “Egypt” and had fulfilled the feast of Passover (justification by faith in the blood of the Lamb) nonetheless remained uncircumcised in heart and ears. The condition of the church repeated the problem seen in the Israelite church in the wilderness. So Moses prophesied of a change in the future, saying in Deuteronomy 30:6,
6 Moreover the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live [become immortal].
Just because people have accepted Christ as the Lamb of God does not mean that they yet love God with all their heart and soul. Heart circumcision was prophesied under Moses, but Israel’s circumcision under Joshua was only a type and shadow of this. Joshua’s circumcision was physical, while ours at the end of the age will be of the heart.
The Orlando Conference
In 2002 some kept the feast of Tabernacles a month later than others. Since we were led to pour out the first half of the bowl of water on Passover of April 27, this meant that Tabernacles would be in late October. But if April 27 was actually the Second Passover, then Tabernacles would have been in late September. Both dates turned out to be important, for we poured out the bowl of wine and water on September 27 but also celebrated a Tabernacles conference a month later.
The lesson here is that while appointed times are certainly important, God also has a way of accommodating everyone’s understanding of the feast day calendar. God looks at the heart and honors everyone’s understanding, regardless of the actual accuracy of their calendars. Knowing this about God helps us distinguish between lawfulness and legalism.
Laura Martino invited me to teach at one such conference from October 21-28, 2002 in Orlando, Florida. I was led to accept the invitation.
In the weeks leading up to the Orlando conference, God began to reveal His plan to circumcise Washington D.C., the nation’s capital. Specifically, the Washington Monument, built and owned by the Masonic Order, is our national phallic symbol. The dome in Washington was constructed as a female symbol of pregnancy. In the Masonic Order, Washington D.C. as a whole was constructed to be the City of Venus.
Although their religious principles are pagan, God has a way of using counterfeits to prophesy of that which is real. In the end, when God causes the people to repent, the Virgin (Virgo) will indeed bring forth Christ. He will be declared King of Kings and Lord of Lords. But this was not possible until the heart of the nation was circumcised.
Circumcision Begins
A sniper killed his first victim on October 2, 2002 just north of Washington D.C. in the state of Maryland. Four more were killed the next day. The sniper then moved to the west and then to the south of Washington. After the fourth victim had been killed, I began to see the pattern, and the Lord showed me that these killings represented the circumcision of Washington D.C. The snipers were encircling the nation’s capital.

On October 7 the sniper wounded a schoolboy. On October 9 the sniper killed his seventh victim. On October 9 the sniper killed his eighth victim in Fredricksburg, VA. On October 14 the sniper killed his ninth victim at Falls Church, VA.
Meanwhile, Vanita and Brother Taylor, who were from Pennsylvania, were led to drive to the Washington Monument on October 16 to pray for the heart of the nation. By this time we all knew that God was circumcising the heart of America and that the Washington Monument represented the focal point of that circumcision.
The tenth victim was killed on October 22, during the conference in Orlando.
By this time, I had the insight that ten people would be killed, because ten is the number of the law. In discussing this with Joe Speckhart at the conference, his insight was that there would be 13 victims, since 13 is the number of rebellion and depravity. America was founded with 13 colonies, one for each tribe of Israel (including Levi).
As it turned out, the final victim was killed about two miles from where the first victim had been shot. Newscasters reported that the sniper had come “full circle.” In other words, we had reached our Gilgal, where God rolled away the reproach of Egypt. Thirteen people had been shot, and ten of them had died.
On October 23 Joe and I agreed that the circumcision had been completed and that the sniper would be arrested shortly. Early the next morning (October 24) a Christian truck driver spotted a suspicious car and called 911. It turned out to be the sniper’s car, and two men were arrested on charges of murder. When interviewed later, the truck driver said that he and 50 other truck drivers had held a prayer meeting a few days earlier to pray for God’s mercy upon America and to stop the sniper attacks.
God answered their prayer and used this Christian truck driver to put an end to the circumcision.
Conquering the Giants
In the days of Joshua, Israel crossed the Jordan, the Israelites were circumcised, and then the battle of Jericho took place, which was the first of many battles against the Canaanites. Recall that 38 years earlier, the Israelites had been so fearful of the giants in the land that they refused to enter at their appointed time (Numbers 14).
But under Joshua, a type of Christ, they entered the land and overcame those giants.
So in the sequence of prophetic events in October of 2002, it happened that the Angels beat the Giants in the World Series from October 19-27. During the final baseball game on October 27, I was in Orlando teaching on the Birthright of Joseph-Ephraim and how this related to Joshua, who was of the tribe of Ephraim. The Birthright, of course, is the promise that includes heart circumcision.
By the time the World Series began, it was clear to us that the Angels would beat the Giants, because that fit the prophetic events occurring at that time. In fact, it had been 42 years since the Angels had won a World Series. Israel’s 41st encampment was in the plains of Moab, and when they crossed the Jordan, their 42nd encampment was in the plain of Jericho.
The Angels were owned by Disney, and when they won the series, the team went to Orlando, where we had just finished the Tabernacles conference (October 28).
All of these events, being connected to the story of Joshua, were part of the work of the house of Joseph. Joshua, being of that house, was a type of Christ in His second coming to lead Israel into the Promised Inheritance of the Birthright. The Birthright could not be inherited apart from the circumcision of the heart of the nation as a whole. Once the heart circumcision took place, the Angels could beat the Giants in the land.
The events in October of 2002 provide us with another pattern showing us the sequence of prophetic events which could be overlaid upon the story of Israel under Joshua. When this sequence is compared and contrasted to Jerusalem, it is even more striking. The earthly Jerusalem depended upon physical circumcision, which is a sign of the Old Covenant. The failure of the Old Covenant results in the casting out of "Hagar" (Galatians 4:31), whereas the success of the New Covenant under our Joshua-Jesus ordains the people of "Sarah," the New Covenant type, to be the inheritors of the Kingdom.
