Christian leaders who support Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu should consider the views of the Israeli people themselves instead of their leaders. Unfortunately, prominent leaders of Christian Zionism are trying to force the Jewish state into the war of Armageddon in order to hasten the return of Christ, who, supposedly, will save the day after all but 144,000 are killed.
Ordinary Israelis know this and have mentioned this often in their reports. Christian Zionists make them quite nervous, understandably so.
The recent outbreak of violence occurred after the Israeli government assassinated some of the leaders of Hamas. They have done this before and were well aware that this would cause a violent reaction. Yet the media focuses only on the missiles flying against Israeli cities and gives the impression that Hamas started this fight.
It seems that whenever Netanyahu becomes unpopular, he starts a war in order to force the Israelis to unite under his leadership.
Anti-Netanyahu protesters gathered outside the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem on Saturday night, protest organizers and Israeli media reported.
