So if any other state governor issues a similar Executive Order forcing people to wear masks, you can show them this. The Judge ordered the “Defendant” (Newsom) to appear on June 26 to explain how his Executive Order was constitutional.
Does anyone know what happened on June 26?
Addendum:
I received this response a short time later….
Clarification: CA Governor Newsom’s executive order (masks) blocked by the court
Newsom was specifically sued by the Northern California state Sen. and assemblyman regarding his executive order requiring mail in ballots for November. The judge declared that Executive Order was unconstitutional, and prohibited Newsom from making any other similar Executive Orders attempting to create law and bypassing the legislative process. (such as his "mask order" on June 18.). We do need to discover the results of the hearing that was scheduled last Friday.
Since this judge's ruling on June 12, lawless Newsom declared to the press, and I believe on twitter that he was mandating that all California's use a mask. (I believe on June 18). If you go to the governor's website, you will discover that there was no executive order written. There is no civil or penal codes. There is no "law." MSM will occasionally give a link to the law. But the link will usually take you back to another news article.
On June 18 he did make some changes within the California Department of Public health regarding, "Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings." It does include statements such as, "it mandates that face coverings be worn state wide...," And "people in California must wear face coverings." (including when outside with 6 foot spacing of nonfamily members.). It lists many specific situations, but also gives some exemptions.
"Guidance," does not equal "Law." As the state's chief executive, he does have authority to give "guidance," to agencies under his authority. But he has no authority to give "guidance," to the population or any other company or agency. They are intentionally pitting the ignorant against the Enlightened.
