As most of you know, my wife had a hip replacement on Monday, March 16. She was one of the last to have such surgery, the next day all "nonessential" surgeries were cancelled as part of the coronavirus lockdowns.
Two nights ago, Darla turned the corner and began to feel much less pain and did not need to take the strong pain medications that were prescribed to her. Yesterday was a good day, and today she is able to walk without a cane and without pain. She said that today is the best day she has had in a long time.
So it appears that she has indeed turned the corner, and that yesterday's good day was not just a fluke. Thanks for all of your prayers. We always feel it when you pray.
On another note, I just learned that Ibuprophin feeds the coronavirus. I asked my doctor about it today, and he confirmed this, telling me that there has actually been quite a lot of research done on Ibuprophin in this regard. Anyone with Ibuprophin in their system will be more vulnerable to coronavirus. The same is true with all NSAIDS, including Aleve and Motrin. Tylenol and Aspirin have other side effects, but research has not indicated that they are food for coronavirus.
