On the first page, speaking of the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven to the earth, I had stated that the city was the bride and that the earth was the husband.
I see now that the Husband is indeed Christ, and the (new) earth is their new home. So I have modified the paragraph in that blog to read this way:
The city is the bride who has been prepared for her Husband. Her Husband is Christ, both Jesus the Head and the body that is joined to Him. The new earth is their new home. Revelation 21:3 gives us the answer: “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them… and God Himself shall be among them.”
The Husband and wife have made the earth their home, That is the picture that John paints for us.
