Darla and I wish all of our friends (and readers) a merry Christmas and pray that the season will bring you joy.
We are spending the day at home with our three sons. We called our oldest daughter, Natasha, this morning, as it is her birthday today. Her name means "Natal Day," (as in Natalie), i.e., Christmas. We remember vividly when she was born 42 years ago. Now she is a doctor of physical therapy in Arkansas.
We have been blessed in so many ways, we can't even begin to count them, but the greatest blessing of all is that all of our six children are walking with Christ and that they are happy.
We won't be having a big Christmas meal this year, partly because we have no guests (for a change), but also because I am in the middle of a seven-day cleansing fast. This will be followed by a 30-day semi-fast that will last most of January. Fasting may seem out of season, but in this case it was timely. By the time we fly to New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia, I should be well prepared and back to normal.
God bless you all, and we bless you, too.
