This past week end I received sufficient revelation to write about the next prayer campaign. At a church meeting Friday evening, I was shown the main purpose of the prayer campaign. At a private meeting with two brethren on Saturday evening, I was shown the dates and connections to past revelation. At another gathering of friends on Sunday, I received the final pieces of the puzzle.
The name: From Revelation to Manifestation
The date: September 4-11, 2014
The purpose: To put what we have learned by the revelation of the Word into full demonstration of the life of Christ.
Background
On July 17, 2014 while I was in Australia, a group of us went to the stone church where Smith Wigglesworth had preached and prophesied many times. We were led to call forth the wind to blow life back into the “dry bones” of those prophecies, since Australia, like so many countries, is in need of a new move of the Holy Spirit.
Paul, who lives near that church, gave me a copy of the life teachings of Wigglesworth. At the moment I have read over 700 pages and hope to finish the last 150 pages shortly. This book focused my attention on the remarkable works that were done in the wake of the Pentecostal outpouring of the Spirit a century ago, as men and women were moved by faith. Tens of thousands were healed under Wigglesworth and twenty were raised from the dead.
Likewise, John G. Lake came out of the same movement. As hospitals were emptied, his work in Spokane alone caused the government to proclaim Spokane to be the healthiest city in America. There were many notable men and women of faith who were sent out under that Pentecostal anointing. It is remarkable to see the results of their revelation of faith, though they were given very little—if any—revelation about Tabernacles.
Our revelation is that we are now coming to a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This will go beyond Pentecost to Tabernacles. We will be given the double portion as our inheritance, if we have the audacity to claim it as our right and to walk in it.
The August 20 Revelation
In 1984 we were led to engage in a prayer campaign called Ye Shall Go Forth. It began August 20 and ended September 3, 1984. I wrote about this in chapter 3 of my book, The Wars of the Lord. This was a prayer campaign to lay foundations for the Open Door Ministry. We are now (2014) in the Year of the Open Door, as I explained in last December’s FFI.
As we now come to the climax of the Year of the Open Door, God is now revealing this prayer campaign and connecting it with Ye Shall Go Forth, which was waged 30 years ago.
In 2008, I was led to travel to South Africa, where I taught at conferences and in churches for nearly a month. I got on the plane September 4, 2008 and returned September 30, which was Rosh Hoshana, feast of Trumpets, New Year’s Day by the Hebrew calendar. This trip in 2008 fulfilled a vision that I had in 1984, where I had seen a light over South Africa. That trip was called Operation Elijah.
This trip was the final event that I recorded in my book, The Wars of the Lord. After returning from that trip, I was able to finish the book. Of course, I will soon be writing a sequel to it, because since 2009 we have been seeing the manifestation of the miracle-signs of Elisha. When we complete those signs, I will need to pull the information together into the sequel for a more permanent record of the Lord’s doings.
The end of Ye Shall Go Forth on September 3, 1984 was picked up by Operation Elijah which began September 4, 2008, as if the 24-year interval did not exist. Then last year (2013) the seven intercessors from Mankato sponsored a gathering at the headwaters of the Blue Earth River in southern Minnesota as part of a 40-day prayer campaign to repent over the US government’s 200 broken treaties with the Native Americans.
The underlying purpose of this prayer campaign was to open the ears of the people to hear the word and to end the famine of hearing the word. Recall that in the time of King David, there was a 3-year famine in the land, and when David inquired of the Lord about its spiritual cause, the answer came: “It is for Saul and his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death” (2 Samuel 21:1). In other words, Saul broke the treaty (covenant) which Joshua had made with the Gibeonites (Joshua 9:15).
We understood that because of all the broken treaties that our government has broken (largely supported by Christians, unfortunately) America has experienced a famine of hearing the word, as prophesied in Amos 8:11. Our purpose was to break that famine.
Toward evening of September 4, 2013, we threw barley into those headwaters:
“We then walked to the other end of the park to the riverbank, and completed the assignment. Barley meal, which the Lord provided in a unique way last week from a “House of Bread” (Bethlehem), was cast into the river to heal broken covenants.”
Hence, September 4, 2014 should be considered a “barley date,” that is, a possible time for the ninth sign of Elisha, beginning the double portion. (Elijah performed eight miraculous signs, and Elisha performed sixteen on account after receiving the double portion anointing from Elijah. The double portion is represented by signs 9-16.)
In a way the current prayer campaign, From Revelation to Manifestation, is a sequel to last year’s Blue Earth decree. In fact, the repentance for the broken treaties last year is now bearing fruit this year. We expect to see the end of the famine of the word shortly, as the Spirit of God is sent upon us as rain upon the earth.
The Wall Theme
The events of September 11, 2001 changed the course of world history. We had already received warning of this three years earlier, as I explained in my booklet, The 1986 Vision of the Two Gulf Wars. Read that booklet, if you want the full continuity of God’s reasons for this judgment on America. It is always best to learn the background, so that one gets a better grasp of the mind of God and how He judges the nations.
The Twin Towers demolition was done to fulfill Isaiah 30:25, “on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” The next verse says, “and the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun…” To us, this was a veiled reference to Joshua fighting the battle of Jericho, because Jericho means “moon.”
We had to wait ten years to see this Jericho sign come in as a sequel to the Twin Towers demolition. Then Jeff received revelation to hold a “Jericho march” around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul), once each day for a week beginning September 11, 2011. So we received our Jericho sign according to the Hezekiah Factor (10 years).
The purpose of this march was to cast down the denominational walls that have divided the church.

A year later, on September 11/12, 2012 a few of us did a follow-up work in Bemidji, MN, based on the biblical pattern of rebuilding the walls of (New) Jerusalem in Nehemiah 6:15.
The next year (2013) we went to the headwaters of the Blue Earth River on Sept. 4, and then in October another group led by Cindy Jacobs issued a “Call to the Wall.” In other words, once the walls were rebuilt, then it was necessary to post watchmen on the wall in 2013.
Each of these prophetic works were entire stories in themselves, which we cannot repeat here. However, I did write about them in my weblogs, if you are a new reader and want to go back to the archives on my website and read those reports.
The Wall of Fire
We come now to 2014, where we are to engage in another prayer campaign called From Revelation to Manifestation. This is the next step in the “wall” revelations that have been progressing since 2011. This present prayer campaign is about the Wall of Fire prophesied in Zechariah 2:1-5.
1 Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.” 3 And behold, the angel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him, 4 and said to him, “Run, speak to that young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls, because of the multitude of men and cattle within it. 5 For I,’ declares the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst’.”
As I have shown in other weblogs and books, Scripture speaks of two Jerusalems. The Hebrew name for the city is Ierushalayim, which literally means “Two Jerusalems.” The Old Testament prophets do not distinguish between the two, for that is revealed only in the New Testament. Nonetheless, the Old Testament prophets prophesy of both cities.
The problem is that the OT prophets blend their prophecies of each city, making it necessary for us to discern which Jerusalem they were referencing. Some of those prophecies (especially in Isaiah) are interpreted in Revelation 21 to refer to the New Jerusalem, but the vast majority of them require us to discern for ourselves.
As a general rule, when the OT prophets condemn Jerusalem and speak of its destruction, they are referring to the earthly Jerusalem. When they speak in glowing terms of its restoration and glory, they are referring to the heavenly Jerusalem. The prophet Zechariah is one of the most difficult prophets to understand, because he moves seamlessly from one Jerusalem to the other.
Yet in Zechariah 2 we see a clear prophecy of the heavenly Jerusalem with its “wall of fire.” The word of the Lord apparently was stimulated when the prophet saw a young man with a measuring line, who was intending to measure the length and width of the earthly city along its wall. God turned it into a prophecy about a greater city, heavenly Jerusalem.
In Revelation 11:1 we read of another prophecy about measuring the temple in Jerusalem—this time the earthly city and temple itself.
1 And there was given me a measuring rod like a staff [reed, which is 6 sacred cubits or 7 regular cubits]; and someone said, “Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. 2 And leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.”
Notice that this temple could be measured, because it had to do with prophecy concerning the earthly Jerusalem, which was to be trodden down by the nations and wherein the two witnesses are killed. Obviously, this is not the heavenly Jerusalem nor the temple in heaven.
By contrast, Zechariah’s prophecy says that the heavenly Jerusalem cannot be measured, because it has no physical walls to be measured. That is, it has no boundaries, “because of the multitude of men and cattle within it.” It is a universal Kingdom with unlimited glory in her midst. Because the word “cattle” appears 153 times in Scripture, it really refers to the “sons of God,” which, in Hebrew, has a numeric value of 153.
So as we contemplate the progression of the “wall” theme, we see now that the earthly Jerusalem is about to be supplanted by the heavenly Jerusalem. The stone walls—the moral boundaries of the law—are soon to be turned into a wall of fire as the glory of God is manifested in us.
This transformation pictures the purpose of the prayer campaign which we are about to begin: From Revelation to Manifestation. In past years God has given us the revelation of His law that was hidden from most of the church on account of the famine of hearing the word. The law reveals His character and intent for the earth, but most law studies in past centuries has focused upon its Old Covenant application. Our revelation views the law through the eyes of the New Covenant, turning those stones into fire.
Some have questioned our studies, thinking that we ought to focus more on faith and doing miracles, like healing the sick and raising the dead. Frankly, that has always been my desire as well, but God showed me forty years ago that His purpose for me was to teach me the Word first. The Word (revelation) is the fuel for the Spirit. The more fuel we have gathered, the greater will be the fire when the divine spark hits it.
A century ago, the Holy Spirit came in a Pentecostal movement in the midst of the famine of hearing the word. There was much that these men of faith did not understand from the Word. And yet the Spirit lit a mighty fire, and men like Wigglesworth always emphasized the Word to sustain a life of faith. But that fire has died down in recent decades, because there was not enough of the word to sustain it.
When I look back on my life, and the way that God has led me, it is clear to me that I was called as a teacher among the five-fold ministry to receive revelation of the word. I struggled with that in 1974 when my desire was to move in the power of the Holy Spirit in the Charismatic movement. I wanted to go to those meetings, but instead God put me in a dead church to teach the word. I chafed at this and complained to God.
Finally, He spoke to me: “Which calling do you want?” I was taken aback, knowing the intent of that question. Was I content with God’s purpose for me, or did I covet the gifts and callings of other men which I thought to be better? After three days of soul-searching prayer, I finally concluded that I should pursue my own calling as a teacher, rather than seek that which God had given to others. That was a tough decision for me, because it seemed like the obvious choice would be to move in the power of the Holy Spirit, rather than just learn the Scriptures.
But then I remembered Solomon’s choice of wisdom, rather than riches or fame (2 Chronicles 1:7-12). He ended up also receiving that which he did not ask for. So I knew that if I would be patient and diligently pursue my own calling, God would give me my heart’s desire in the end.
Of course, at the time, I did not know that a famine of hearing the word had plagued us. Like most of people, I thought I knew the word pretty well, having been raised in the church. Oh, yes, there was always just one more area of study to complete my training. But when I finished that area, then another one popped up, and another, and another. Finally, by 1979 I realized that I really was NOT on the verge of knowing everything that could be known of the Scriptures. In fact, my real training had not even begun yet!
From 1981-1993 I settled down into that 12-year training period to learn how the law was spiritual and how it applied to spiritual warfare. Then from 1993-2006 we conducted the Jubilee Prayer Campaign, walking 13 years around Jericho/Babylon. Then we began moving toward the “wall” theme in 2011, and now we have come to the time when the stones in the wall are ready to be turned into a Wall of Fire.
My own path and calling is now becoming clearer. I have a better understanding today about the reason why God called me and trained me as a teacher. Though the teacher is the little finger of the five-fold ministry, it supports the thumb (apostolic ministry). Without proper teaching, even an apostle’s ministry will be unsustainable and will not change the world.
There have been countless occasions where the Holy Spirit has been poured out in all of the “revivals” of past centuries. Each of these revivals impacted many individuals in a very positive manner, but none of them changed the world. Many of these revivals altered specific events in various nations, but they did not transform the nations into the Kingdom of God.
We need a greater work, a greater move of the Spirit, one that brings a revelation of the word along with the move of the Spirit. In my view, each of the past revivals which came under the anointing of Pentecost, were given a specific and important piece of revelation from the word, but not enough to finish the work of establishing the Kingdom.
Martin Luther (1500’s) brought the revelation of Justification by faith alone (Passover).
John Wesley (1700’s) brought the revelation of Sanctification and Holiness (Red Sea).
Others (1700’s and 1800’s) began to realize that God still heals people (Marah)
The Bible Societies (1800’s) brought the revelation of the missionary movements (Elim)
Charles Parham (1900) and others brought the revelation of Pentecost (Mount Sinai)
George Hawtin (1948) brought the Latter Rain movement (12 spies bring firstfruits)
We are now seeking entry into the Kingdom under Joshua the Ephraimite under the anointing of the New Covenant (Deuteronomy 29).
This final move of the Holy Spirit will be greater than all of the others put together. One sign of this is in the fact that God has worked a long time to impart to us the revelation of the word. The prayer campaign last year to End the Famine is highly significant in this long-term flow of prophetic events leading to where we are today.
Many people have been given roles to play in this sequence of events since Martin Luther. There is no way to list them all here. Many have participated in the flow of events in recent years as well, usually without a clear vision of the big picture. Nonetheless, they did their part according to their callings and gifts. To God be the glory.
