The New York Times reported that on Wednesday, January 15, Pope Francis began to "clean house" at the Vatican Bank.

Recall that January 14/15 is a prophetic type of the feast of Passover. The 14th day of the first month is when the lambs were to be killed, and the 15th is the actual day of Passover. It is also the first day of Unleavened Bread, when the people were required to remove all the leaven out of their houses.
The Roman church has been the prime manifestation of the “little horn” of Daniel 7 since 529 A.D. In that sense, it is linked to the beast empires, generally called “Babylon.” It is fitting, then, that a pope from Argentina would rise up at the end to do this housecleaning, because the name Argentina comes from argentum, (Ag) which means “silver.” Argentina is the Land of Silver. So it appears that Pope Francis represents here the arms of silver that overthrow the head of gold—as the prophecy applies to the Vatican.
Hence, this is another sign of the end of the Babylonian banking era and the start of the new banking system advocated by the Kings of the East.
I can't help but like this pope's style, as he drives his own cheap car and lives in the guest house at the Vatican.
