This is to let you know that my long-time secretary, Deanna Paulat, died yesterday at 1:30 p.m. Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalized, but will probably take place either Sunday or Monday.
She had enjoyed her work very much here at the office in Fridley, MN, but in recent years she had developed congestive heart failure as she approached the age of 80. Last February she trained Darla (my wife) in the office procedures, and then was too weak to leave the house.
She was on hospice care for the past few months, and she died in peace, very much ready to go, having lived a full life of serving the Lord. She was a faithful servant to this ministry as well, and if you have received any books or tapes from us over the years, it is likely that she is the one who sent them to you.
Her husband, Martin Paulat, died December 7, 1998. We were led to move here in 1996 to assist him after he had a stroke in April 1996. Martin was one of the most remarkable people in my life. Both he and Deanna will be missed, but we thank God for their testimony and ministry during their time on the earth.
