I do not know if I will have time to write a blog on Friday morning, so I am writing something this evening (Thursday).
I have a wedding to attend on Friday afternoon. A nephew on my wife's side of the family is getting married.
Then on Saturday I am leaving on a week-long vacation to go fishing with friends. I'm not exactly an avid fisherman, but I do enjoy the fellowship. And since I tend to be a workaholic because of the importance of ministry work, I understand that once in a while I really do have to take time off. Having said that, we will certainly talk about our favorite topics--prophecy, principles of divine law, and the progress of the Kingdom.
I should be back to the office a week from Monday. Monday night Bible studies are cancelled for the next two weeks.
We'll be going to a town that sounds like Dinar but spelled slightly different. I always find it curious that we can't seem to do anything trivial without God turning it into a prophecy of some sort. Recall that the whole dinar sign is connected to the 9th miracle-sign of Elisha in 2 Kings 4:42-44. This has to do with muliplying the barley loaves, and it is the Old Testament equivalent of John 6, where Jesus multiplied 5 barley loaves and 2 fish.
We have been looking at the "barley" part of this, but now God is adding the "fish" to the picture. In fact, our trip to Dinar Town will include both barley and fish. I may tell you more about it later, but we'll know more later.
Relax? Go fishing? Even Jesus turned fishing into a divine calling. He never seems to let up. Does He never stop working? Does He ever sleep? Better yet, does He ever let us just relax without joining in on the fellowship and blowing us away with His revelation stuff? No, we have learned that wherever we go, there He is. And He always turns out to be the star of the show. He can't help it. It's His personality, I think.
I have figured that the dinar revaluation would occur in conjunction with a "barley" date in some way. A few weeks ago, I suggested that the next possible "barley" dates would be August 22-24. Well, there was some excitement on the forums in that window, but it proved to be a dud.
It did not occur to me that this fishing trip might be another window to watch. But when it was pointed out to me the other day that we were going to Dinar Town to see barley and fish, this was just too much. Bottom line is that I have to let you know that next week is a possibility for either (1) the revaluation of the dinar, or (2) further revelation about it.
We'll make the trip and find out what God has in mind. And hopefully, we'll get some relaxation at the same time. And if nothing happens, then consider this just another whopper fish story, seasoned with barley.
Meanwhile, Brother Vinnie still has dinar available, if any of you are in the market. He will not be coming with us on this trip, so he will be at the other end of his cell phone if you call: 850-255-1000.
On another topic, yesterday's 5.9 earthquake near Washington D.C. not only closed the Washington Monument indefinitely, it also cracked the National Cathedral. I do not know the extent of the damage yet, but I did see pictures of fallen spires and even a fallen angel. I am not sure yet what it might mean, but reports say that the quake's epicenter was directly under a graveyard in Virginia.
Remember last year's earthquake in Washington D.C.? It occurred early morning of July 16, 2010. It was only 3.6 on the Richter scale, but it was the strongest quake on record to hit the city.

As Ron told us last April at the conference in Manassas, "there's a whole lot of shakin' going on in Washington." Two years ago I posted the "Rock and Roll Prophecy" about the shaking that was to happen in Washington. You may want to review it in light of this latest earthquake and its prophetic significance.

Have we turned a corner? Are we heading down the final stretch? Time will tell.
In addition to the earthquake, we are now seeing Miss Irene coming to town as a Category 3-4 hurricane. They seem to be more worried about New York than D.C., but regardless, a lot of people are evacuating the coastal area already. By the time I get back to the office, we will know how it affected the towns on the East Coast.
Meanwhile, always keep in mind that this negative news applies to the world at large, but you are called to live in a higher realm. God continues to do very positive things in developing His body of people. A local friend told me the other day how he went into a hospital to pray for a man that he knew. This was a few weeks ago. The man had crashed his car after suffering from a bad stroke. He was paralyzed and in a coma. When my friend got to the hospital room, he found people crying, and the decision had been made to "pull the plug" and let him die.
My friend walked up to him, put his hand on the man's chest, and called him by name, telling him to come back and get up. The man sat up and tried to hug him frantically. The machines and monitors went crazy. The hospital staff demanded that he leave, before he broke the machines. Before he left, however, he spoke to his friend (who obviously understood every word) and said, "If you want to come back, squeeze my hand." He did not do so. So he told him, "It is now between you and Jesus." He then left the room. We believe that the man died in peace.
Recall that this is the year that God is calling us to know who we are in Christ and to identify with the "I" of Christ in us, rather than the "I" of the first Adam. Recall our "Declaration of Identity" that I wrote of last November 22. We are soon coming to the culmination of this current prophetic year. I do not know fully what this will mean for each of us as individuals, but I know that God is doing something in our lives this year to bring us to the place of manifesting the life of Christ.
Often we tend to lose sight of the positive work that God is doing in us, as we become distracted by the way God tears down the Babylonian system around us. So this is just a reminder to keep your eyes upon Christ and pray that He shows you how to bring the New Creation Man within you into visibility.
