I am in Nebraska with friends to discern and discuss prophetic things. No, this is NOT a Rapture party, nor is it a Rapture Watch.
It is now ten minutes past the moment of Doomsday. The horses are getting ready to run the Preakness. Unless, of course, there was a great miscalculation for the Rapture, in which case, the TV will go off the air at any moment.
If I may offer a suggestion, if anyone out there is disappointed that Mr. Camping's calculations were off, may I suggest that you read my book, The Rapture in the Light of Tabernacles. It is posted among the online books at my web site: www.gods-kingdom-ministries.net.
It is important to interpret the second coming of Christ as the fulfillment of the autumn feast days. Those feast days never occur in the month of May.
The problem goes deeper than a simple miscalculation. The second coming has nothing to do with the moment that is precisely 7,000 years after Noah's flood. Even if today had really been 7,000 years from the flood, the idea of "as in the days of Noah" has a different meaning than so many have assumed.
As in the days of Noah, the flood came and took them all away. Which ones did the flood take away? Certainly, not Noah's family. It was the unbelievers who were taken away, not the righteous. If anything, we should be watching for the rapture of the wicked.
I hope that the disappointed Christians will be motivated to search the Scriptures. They won't find any new answers unless they go outside the box. Hopefully, some will find my site and pick up some new ideas.
