LARGO, Florida, March 29, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Pepsico, Kraft Foods, and Nestlé are among the corporations partnered with a biotech company found using aborted fetal cell lines to test food flavor enhancers, according to a pro-life watchdog group.
The internationally recognized biotech company, Senomyx, boasts innovation and success in “flavour programs” designed to reduce MSG, sugar and salt in food and beverage products. Senomyx notes their collaborators provide them research and development funding plus royalties on sales of products using their flavor ingredients.
Pro-life watchdog group, Children of God for Life (CGL), has called upon the public to target the major corporations in a boycott, unless the company ceases to use aborted fetal cell lines in their product testing.
This is a more recent application of the Law of Tribulation found in Lev. 26:29,
"Further, you shall eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat."
Abortion is a judgment of God. Most people think of it purely as a REASON for God to judge America, when in fact it is primarily the other way around.
While we can certainly appreciate the Church's concern for the life of unborn babies, most Christian people have never read the Law of God, nor do they understand that killing unborn babies is part of the divine judgment against a nation that turns away from God.
Take note of Hosea's prophecy of judgment against the house of Israel. Hosea 9:11-14 says,
11 As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird--no birth, no pregnancy, and no conception. 12 Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them until not a man is left. Yes, woe to them indeed when I depart from them!
It is clear that God is bringing judgment upon Ephraim (Israel) here, and it will affect their children.
13 Ephraim, as I have seen, is planted in a pleasant meadow like Tyre; but Ephraim will bring out his children for slaughter.
The people of Ephraim will voluntarily bring their children to be slaughtered. That is what we see every time someone goes to an abortion clinic to slaughter their unborn children.
14 Give them, O Lord--what wilt Thou give? Give them a miscarrying [or abortion] womb and dry breasts. . .

16 Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up, they will bear no fruit. Even though they bear children, I will slay the precious ones of their womb.
In other words, God will cause the Ephraimites to bring their children to those who would murder them. God takes credit for implanting this thought into the Ephraimites. It is the natural consequence of rejecting the Law of God and the rightful rule of the Creator.
The only consolation in this is the fact that America is under a wooden yoke, rather than an iron yoke. Under the iron yoke (as in China), couples are forced to abort their second child. The people are not given a choice, though many of them violate the law and are subsequently fined by the government. In America no one is forced to abort a child. It is voluntary. Hence, only the lawbreakers (whether unbelievers or believers) actually bring their children to the murderers.
Of course, the purpose of every judgment is to cause the people to repent (turn, change their minds, adopt a new way of life). For this reason, there is forgiveness even for those who have murdered babies as well as for those who have brought their babies to the slaughter. I do not want to minimize the offense, but to maximize the value of the blood of Jesus Christ and its ability to forgive.
So why did God cause America to legalize abortion? The root causes go back long before any of us were even born. It goes back to biblical days when Israel offered up their children to Molech. That same spirit of murder is yet with us today. God has turned us over to that spirit in order that we might learn by hard experience the results of our own lawlessness.
Many Christians understand that aborticide is an act of murder. But they do not understand its roots, so they do not really know the solution. The solution is not political activism. The solution is that America must recognize Jesus Christ as its King. America must stop legislating laws that are contrary to the laws of God. The Supreme Court must stop interpreting laws in a way that is foreign to the mind of Christ.
The solution is NOT for legislators to prohibit abortion. As long as millions of Americans want the right to commit abortion, such laws would be unsustainable. The solution is to for the people to stop wanting the right to decide (choose) whether their own children ought to be murdered or not. God does not give parents the right of life and death over their children. As Rushdooney writes,
"Neither the parents nor the state are the creators of life, and therefore they cannot fix the terms of life." (The Institutes of Biblical Law, p. 190)
"In Biblical law, all life is under God and His law. Under Roman law, the parent was the source and lord of life. The father could abort the child, or kill it after birth. The power to abort, and the power to kill, go hand in hand, whether in parental or in state hands. When one is claimed, the other is claimed also. To restore abortion as a legal right is to restore judicial or parental murder." (The Institutes of Biblical Law, p. 186)
In biblical law, if a son was incorrigible and absolutely refused to be obedient to his parents, the father did not have the right to execute his son. He had to take him to the proper government officials for a hearing. The judges were to make inquiry and see if the parental demands were reasonable and in accordance with biblical law. They were to inquire to be sure that the child really was rebellious.
If the son was found to be guilty--and if the son was old enough and capable of understanding his rebellion, and yet persisted in it--then he was to be put to death (Deut. 21:18-21). But the parent did not have the right to put him to death. It was done by God--that is, by God's governmental agents.
The point is that the political idea of parental "choice" in killing one's child or offspring comes from Roman law, not from biblical law.
This does not mean that anyone should murder abortion doctors. It does not mean that Christians should harass women going to an abortion clinic. The only way to succeed is for the Holy Spirit to be poured out upon us, so that the people repent and submit to the law and will of God.
