Conference Theme: As the header indicates, this is intended to be a little different from our other conferences. The intent is to merge the two streams of “quail and manna.”
In Exodus 16 Israel began to receive both quail and manna. The quail (meat) signified knowing that God had brought them out of Egypt (Ex. 16:6). The manna signified seeing the glory of the Lord (Ex. 16:7). In other words, the quail, which is the meat of the word, was designed to show us the divine plan and the path from Egypt to the Promised Land, or the progression from Passover to Pentecost and finally to Tabernacles. The manna was about seeing His glory.
In a sense, it is the Word and the Spirit coming into agreement.
