The Gulf Stream has been affected, which normally brings the warm waters of the Gulf north along the East Coast of America. That stream is said to be broken now, which could cause the Northern Hemisphere to get a lot colder and even enter a new Ice Age.
Pray for global warming.
Actually, the warm air will tend to get bottled up in the south and make it warmer there. Without proper circulation of the water, it would get colder up north. So it will be interestering to watch this coming winter and see if the temperatures are colder in the north and warmer in the south.
