It has been a week now since my second eye surgery. I have a doctor's appointment this morning to check this second eye.
So far everything has gone very well. My eyes do tend to get tired by evening, but even this is only temporary as the inner swelling dissipates. My left eye sees 20/15. My right eye sees about 20/25. I can see both near and far and don't need reading glasses. There may be changes in the weeks and months ahead, of course.
The last of our visitors from last week end's local conference are leaving today, bringing me back to a near-normal schedule. At least for the next week or so, when the grandchildren come to visit us for a couple of weeks. That will affect Darla's schedule more than mine.
