I went to the eye doctor this morning and had a cataract removed from my right eye. It went well, but had to rest my eyes when I got home. I hope to be back to the office tomorrow, but thought I really should take the day off.
The left eye will be worked on July 7. Then I should be able to say, "I can see clearly now."
I had put off this surgery for a year for various reasons, including the simple fact that I did not know what God intended for me to do about it, or if He might heal me directly. But finally in May we got a definite word to get it done.
It is going to seem strange not wearing eyeglasses. I have worn them since I was 13. But I look forward to the new experience.
