September 24 was a watch date in regard to the 24th day of the 9th month in Haggai 2:10-23.
The G-20 met in Pittsburg, PA, and no doubt we will see important changes take place as a result. But the things that they decide are long-term changes, not something that will affect us immediately.
In England a large pile of Anglo-Saxon gold from centuries ago was discovered by a man walking a field with a metal detector.

It was apparently discovered in July, but announced to the world yesterday. Remember that July is like September.
"Mr Herbert, 55, of Burntwood in Staffordshire, who has been metal detecting for 18 years, came across the hoard as he searched land belonging to a farmer friend over five days in July. The exact location has not been disclosed."
More significant is that a (military) bracelet made of gold was found with the inscription from Numbers 10:35.
"This gold strip carries the Latin inscription: "Rise up O Lord, and may thy enemies be dispersed and those who hate thee be driven from thy face." It has two sources, the Book of Numbers or Psalm 67, taken from the Vulgate, the Bible used by the Saxons."
This verse was to be spoken whenever the Ark of the Covenant was taken up and moved. It looks like the Ark is stirring again, and God is about to move. Remember that in the days of Eli, they brought the Ark to the battlefield, expecting God to rise up and scatter the Philistines. Israel was in rebellion against God in those days, and so Israel became God's "enemy" (Isaiah 63:10). Thus, Israel was scattered, rather than the Philistines. God is impartial in His judgments.
So it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the days ahead. Because of the timing of this announcement on September 24, the sign is directly related to Haggai 2. Those who are truly God's friends will be blessed: "From this day forward I will bless you." But those who are in rebellion against Him, including those in the priesthood (Eli), they may be as surprised as the were the sons of Eli. "I am going to shake the heavens and the earth."
