I wrote previously how America's beginning in 1776 was the end of 12 x 210 years from the beginning Israel's captivity to Assyria in 745 B.C.
I also wrote how this number 210 is derived from the 21 years of "Jacob's Trouble" as well as the times of trouble that Israel experienced in biblical history.
When Israel dedicated the altar in Moses' Tabernacle (Num. 7), each prince of the tribe offered 3 vessels for use in the Tabernacles. Each set of three weighed 210 shekels, totaling 2,520 shekels. However, there were not simply 12 tribes of Israel. There were actually 13 tribes, if one includes Levi, the priestly tribe.
History itself has shown that we must take into account that 13th tribe in this prophetic time cycle. Thus, 13 x 210 years comes to 1986, which happens to be the 120th Jubilee from Adam, as I showed in my book, Secrets of Time. This date is of equal importance to 1776, for it is part of the progression of prophecy. October 13, 1986 was the Day of Atonement that year. It was the day that the Church should have blown the trumpet for the Great Jubilee. But it knew nothing of this and so failed to do so.
In 1981 the Lord raised up the Net of Prayer to call the Church to prayer, intercession, and spiritual warfare. It was revealed that Christians ought to commit themselves to five years of prayer, and then God would "come" and assess the situation. No one knew what that meant at the time, but of course, some assumed incorrectly that the second coming of Christ would occur at that time.
If the Church had indeed prayed and had sought God's face, I believe that the revelation of timing would have been given during that time, and the people would have understood that 1986 was the 120th Jubilee. But this did not happen, and so the Church as a whole ended up fulfilling a very different pattern--Israel's failure to recognize the 50th Jubilee from Adam and failed to enter the Kingdom under Moses (Num. 13, 14).
The Church also ended up following another pattern in Israel's history. When Israel's capital city was conquered by the Assyrians in 721 B.C., the date was Israel's 14th Jubilee, dating from their Jordan crossing.
Recall that Israel was to begin keeping its sabbatical years and Jubilees "when you come into the land which I give you" (Lev. 25:2). While they were in the wilderness, they did not farm the land, and so sabbath years were not applicable to them. But once they had come into Canaan, those sabbath years and Jubilees became a requirement, which they failed to keep.
When they reached their 14th Jubilee, and again failed to observe it, God hired the Assyrians to expel them from the land, completing their conquest and expulsion in 721 B.C.
Meanwhile, 210 years earlier (931 B.C.) Solomon had died, and the Kingdom of Israel had refused to follow his oppressive and foolish son, Rehoboam. The revolt began the time of the Divided Kingdom, with Israel in the north and Judah in the south. Because the tribes of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) were part of the northern kingdom, that kingdom had the right to retain the name ISRAEL. That name had been given to Joseph's sons in Gen. 48:16. The southern kingdom named itself after its dominant tribe, Judah.
The point is that the tribes of Joseph were separated from their brethren for precisely 210 years, fulfilling the second "time of Jacob's trouble" in biblical history (931-721 B.C.). Then they were scattered into all nations, according to the iron-yoke judgment in Deut. 28:48-64.
The parallel judgment passage in Leviticus 26 speaks of this judgment as being "seven times" (vs. 18, 21, 24, 28). Daniel 7:25 interprets this in terms of actual "time," and Rev. 13:5 defines 3 1/2 "times" as being 42 months (i.e., 1,260 days). This means a "time" is 360 days/years.
For this reason, seven "times" turns out to be 2,520 days/years, and this shows that America's founding in 1776 was meant to portray the beginning of the end of Israel's dispersion at the hands of Assyria. 745 B.C. + 2,520 years = 1776 A.D. Likewise, 2,520 years after Samaria's fall (721 B.C.) saw the building of Washington D.C. in the year 1800.
Important as that date was, God still had more in mind. He gave America another 210 years in which to allow us to repeat the cycle of separation from our brethren--the king of Judah in particular. Thus, the American rebellion in 1776 against Britain's King George III is a direct parallel to the Israelite rebellion in 931 B.C. against Judah's King Rehoboam.
God's reason is stated in 1 Kings 10:33. It was Solomon's lawlessness and idolatry. But the surface reason which God used in the minds of men was the issue of high taxes without representation. The same came to pass in 1776 in the American rebellion.
Essentially, then, this put America on a 210-year cycle of "separation" (i.e., Independence), leading to the events of 1986. The Church was responsible to declare the Jubilee at that time, because the Church had been given authority on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2.
Here is where your knowledge of King Saul as a Pentecostal type is helpful, because it is plain that King Saul was not to enjoy a permanent dynasty of kings. He was too rebellious. God had sought out a man after His own heart (David). Saul ruled 40 years, and his successor, the Church under Pentecost, ruled for 40 Jubilees (until 1993). But in 1986 we were still in the time of "King Saul." The overcomers could call the Church to prayer, but they could not make the official decree of the Jubilee in 1986.
For this reason, the Jubilee was NOT declared in 1986. The Church did not receive that revelation, because they refused to seek God or to take the Net of Prayer seriously. After all, the NOP was a small organization of about 300 people nationwide, and no respect is given to any organization unless it is a megachurch and has a television program.
Well, certainly, God knew that this would happen. He's not senile, even though He is very old and in a wheelchair (Dan. 7:9). God officially separated the overcomers from the Church as a whole, so that the overcomers would not be held liable for the wrong decisions of the Church. This separation actually came on the evening of April 8, 1985 just before the Church aborted the Manchild. (See my pocket size book, The Prophetic Roots of Modern Abortion.)
I had little understanding at the time and did not know the purpose of God. I was just following the Word blindly, and it took nearly ten years to come to an understanding of these things. In 1991 when the revelation of timing was given, I began to see that God had put in place a ten-year cycle, which I called the Hezekiah Factor. Essentially, God established a pattern in the days of Hezekiah, by which we were able to declare the Jubilee ten years late (1996) and still be on time.
I explained this Hezekiah Factor in Secrets of Time. Without going into great detail, Hezekiah received a Jubilee revelation 8 years after the fall of Samaria, and Isaiah prophesied about "this year," "the second year," and "the third year" (2 Kings 19:29). Those years were 8-10 years after the fall of Samaria, but Isaiah treated it as if it were a 49th year Sabbath, followed by the year of Jubilee.
By this we received the revelation that the Church should have received ten years earlier, but refused to hear. So on the Day of Atonement, Sept. 23, 1996, we declared the Jubilee on behalf of the overcomers. It was ten years late, but as in Hezekiah's day, God turned the clock back "ten degrees" (i.e., ten years) to the appointed time (1986), which was 210 years after 1776.
