Here's a short, 4-minute video that will give you some perspective on the private army that has been set up to circumvent the normal rules of war. It is being used around the world, particularly now in Iraq and Afghanistan. Taxpayer money is funding it, but our representatives have not been able to obtain much information about it. Being "private" means it is also "secret."
It appears that their use in foreign wars is only a training operation for their greater use against Americans if and when they are "needed" to keep law and order in the face of protestors. Especially if the government declares martial law.
