Here is something related to my current series on the law of false prophets. It was written by Warren Smith last November. He is warning people of a very real danger that is manifesting more and more in recent years.
We are beginning to see a proliferation of false "christs" being presented to us. The problem is that many Christians have been dumbed down by the lack of biblical teaching. Teaching has been replaced largely by entertainment in the past few decades, as Churches struggle to compete with the world.

Here is a partial quotation from the article. Notice that Robert Schuller is also involved in this teaching. He has close ties to the Unity Church that was started by Charles Fillmore a century ago. I have read most of Fillmore's books, and they teach a counterfeit Jesus and another gospel. "A Course in Miracles" propagates Fillmore's counterfeit gospel, teaching that sin is only ignorance, and that Jesus did not really have to die to pay for the sin of the world.
Schuller has the largest Church in America. It's all about positive thinking, which he mistakenly calls "faith." Anyway, Warren Smith was at one time a zealous New Age student of "A Course in Miracles" before learning the truth. He writes this in his article:
The “Jesus” of A Course in Miracles reveals himself to be an imposter when he blasphemes the true Jesus Christ by saying that a “slain Christ has no meaning” and that we are all “God” and that we are all “Christ.” It was by reading the Bible’s true teachings of Jesus Christ that I came to understand how deceived I had been by A Course in Miracles and my other New Age teachings.
I was introduced to A Course in Miracles by Dr. Gerald Jampolsky’s book Love is Letting Go of Fear. Jampolsky declared in his easy-to-read book how the teachings of A Course in Miracles had changed his life. As an ambassador for A Course in Miracles over the years, Jampolsky has been featured not only in New Age circles but at least twice on Robert Schuller’s Hour of Power. While Schuller introduced Jampolsky and his “fabulous” 18Course in Miracles-based books to his worldwide television audience, it was Marianne Williamson’s appearance on a 1992 Oprah Winfrey Show that really shook the rafters.
