This is a reminder about our "Secrets of Time" Conference to be held on February 9-11, 2007 at The Key Ministry Center in Euless, Texas.
The purpose of this conference is to focus upon a study of Timing in the Bible and how God does all things according to His own schedule. He has given us certain laws of time such as the obvious ones--490 years (or 70 weeks), 1,260 days, 1,290 days, 1,335 days, 40 days or years, etc. But there are also less obvious time cycles which do not appear on the surface of the Scripture, but which are certainly evident when one does a study of timing in biblical history.
In addition to the cycles themselves, if we want to understand the purpose of a time cycle, we must know the biblical meaning of the number itself. For instance, 414 is the number called "Cursed Time," seen in at least six important biblical time cycles. It is actually 9 x 46. Nine is the number of God's Visitation, or God's Judgment, and 46 is the number of the temple. When Peter says in 1 Peter 4:17 that judgment begins at the house of the Lord, he is actually giving us the meaning of the number 414.
Likewise, 414 is also 6 x 276. The number six is the number of man, and 276 is the number signifying "all flesh" or "the flesh." See Acts 27:37, where there were 276 people aboard the ship that was shipwrecked. All of the passengers made it to shore safely (27:44). This is a historical parable about how all flesh will be saved, even though their "ship of state" is wrecked by the storm (tribulation; judgment).
If you add up the numerical value of the letters in the Greek phrases, "all flesh" and "the flesh," each is a multiple of 276. And so, by knowing the meaning of numbers as used in the Bible, we can discern the mind of God and His purpose in that story.
