My weblog from April 11 mentioned that we had a supply of potassium iodate for $15/bottle of 180 tablets to be taken if or when some sort of nuclear accident or incident should occur anywhere in the world. This is designed to protect your thyroid gland, which is the organ most vulnerable to radioactive iodine. (For full details, see the last part of my April 11 web log.)
Anyway, we have received a new shipment of potassium iodate. It's actually bottled in quantities of 200, rather than 180, so you get an extra 20 tablets. All back orders were sent out in today's mail.
Also, the price has risen because of shortages caused by heavy government purchasing. So now we must charge $20/bottle, plus $5 shipping and handling, regardless of quantity ordered. If you have already ordered at the earlier price of $15/bottle, that's okay, we'll honor that price. We just want you to have some on hand in case it is needed.
